Heather Graham reveals how much her monthly mortgage payment is

Hollywood icon Heather Graham has revealed her ‘really low’ monthly mortgage payment as she opened the doors to her luxury New York City penthouse.

Graham, 56, revealed the oasis she has called home for over 25 years in an apartment tour on YouTuber Caleb Simpson’s channel, where she showed her bedroom, the space she does yoga at, and offered a look into her fridge.

The home is now valued at nearly $3 million and the neighborhood has transformed since Graham purchased it, from an area where ‘people would buy drugs’ at to the more upscale neighborhood it now is.

For an A-lister such as Graham – who has a reported net worth of $20 million – she also has a rather modest monthly payment.

‘My mortgage is really low now actually,’ Graham said. ‘$3,500 or something like that.’

Viewers were floored by her payment: ‘$3500 for that is a steal in NYC,’ one posted.

Heather Graham has opened the doors to her luxury NYC apartment to fans - and revealed her shocking 'really low' monthly mortgage payment

‘How come it’s only $3,500?!!!! I want one like this! I paid $3600 in Battery Park and it was a tiny one bedroom for me and my 3 kids,’ another wrote.

”She seems like a completely lovely person. Even though that mortgage is low- it’s just – few hundred less that’s what I bring home a month… But that’s my fault. Love all yer content sir,’ another posted.

The home has been in Graham’s possession since 2001 and serves as her sanctuary – the residence, decked out with spiritually-influenced decor, is the place where she does yoga, cooks for friends, and unwinds in a massive bathtub.

‘I bought it right before September 11,’ she said.  ‘And the day that I was moving in, I had my key and it was September 11th. And I was at the Toronto Film Festival, and it was like 8AM, I’m like, “today I’m moving into my new apartment!”

‘And then we flew past the two towers and then we couldn’t come into the city because it was like, you know,’ she said.

‘I had to find a place to stay in Long Island and then I took the subway and the first day I lived here was September 12, 2001.’

Graham has turned the space into her own oasis ever since.

The spacious property contains numerous windows, pops of color, and design influences from around the world.

The home also pays tribute to Graham’s appreciation for spirituality. A majestic statue of Vishnu, a principal deity of Hinduism, is one of the focal points of the home.

‘This is like Vishnu, he’s the protector of the universe. I told my interior designer, Gillian Lefkowitz, that I wanted like a world traveler vibe,’ she said. ‘And I’m into spiritual stuff, like yoga.’

Graham’s home contains an airy and light ambiance that is contrasted by pops of color in the kitchen and bathroom.

The kitchen is covered in moss green tile, offering a calming setting for Graham as she cooks.

‘I like cooking for people,’ she said. ‘When I cook for people, I want it to feel nurturing.’

‘I don’t have kids,’ she said when Simpson remarked that was a ‘motherly’ trait.

It’s a question that is frequently posed to her: ‘People always ask,’ she said. ‘I feel like people are just like, “why would a woman not want to have kids?” I feel like the younger generation is a little more open-minded about it.

‘They’re just like, “yeah I want to” or “I don’t want to.” No judgement either way.’

Graham’s apartment even survived a blaze in 2013.

‘That happened here,’ she said. ‘And then in LA, you know there were fires last year, and I got evacuated.’

Graham’s bedroom consists of a massive bedroom placed beneath a skylight and is decorated with a painting intended to ‘create good energy.’

‘I want my apartment to feel like a peaceful oasis. You can be on vacation when you’re home,’ she explained.

The apartment tour comes following news Graham has landed a role on season four of The White Lotus.
