George and Amal Clooney poured on the PDA during a sun-drenched sojourn in St Tropez where they celebrated the actor’s milestone 65th birthday on Thursday.
The couple resembled lovestruck teenagers as they laughed and chatted together after enjoying a leisurely lunch with friends at Club 55, an exclusive club and restaurant offering breathtaking views of sand and sea.
The two couldn’t seem to keep their hands off one another while strolling around the picturesque town.
Their day trip included a boat ride from yacht to shore and even then, Clooney stayed glued to his wife’s side.
Ever the gracious host, the Jay Kelly star was seen conversing with friends.
Clooney, who had another romantic break with Amal in the south of France in December, was beachy cool in black polo shirt and beige trousers accessorized with a wide leather belt as tan loafers completed the look.

Amal, 48, was stylishly sophisticated in an embellished, multi-colored top and matching skirt along with calf-high black boots.
Both wore sunglasses suited to their individual tastes as they took in the sights and sounds, St Tropez being one of their favorite and regular places to visit.
Last month, in an interview with Page Six at the 51st Chaplin Award Gala where he was being honored, the Oscar winner was asked about the big birthday coming up and whether it was like ‘the third act.’

‘Well, let’s hope! Depends on how long the whole show runs,’ Clooney quipped.
He spoke about his time being more focused on philanthropy these days, such as the Clooney Foundation for Justice, which he founded with Amal.
‘I’m spending it more working on the foundation, working more on the schools and doing things that I find more fulfilling because I’m not chasing a career anymore, you know.
‘That’s helpful in a way because you get to spend time working on things that matter to you at least. And so that’s where my focus is. But, you know, if you get a good part you take it.’
Clooney admitted he’s had a long and interesting career, including a stint on the 1980s sitcom The Facts of Life as handyman George.

‘I remember me on The Facts of Life. I had a good mullet. The idea that I could do some of the things – shows I’ve done and then to still have a career is shocking,’ he said.
Clooney’s idyllic trip along the French Riviera comes after he claimed he ‘never had an argument’ with his wife because he just ‘doesn’t care’ about petty gripes.
The Hollywood actor and the humanitarian rights lawyer have been married since September 2014 and have two children together, Ella and Alexander, who turn nine on June 6.
But he’s adamant they’ve never had a proper ‘fight’ because he’s at the ‘point in life’ where he doesn’t feel the need to ‘be right.’
‘Well, when you’re younger, you want to be right about everything, you know. “Don’t paint that color on the wall,”‘ he explained in an interview with CBS Mornings.
‘And you know, Amal and I – everybody gets ticked off when I say it – but we’ve never had a fight. We never had an argument. And some of it is because I’m at this point in life where if she wants to paint the wall red, I don’t care.
‘You get to a point in life where you just go: “Why would that be a discussion or an argument?” We have a really amazing relationship because we’re also so supportive of each other that it’s like, “I don’t care.”‘
He added that when he was younger, ‘I think I would have found things to, you know, stick my chest out about that I can go now: “It doesn’t matter, I don’t care.”‘

Clooney has claimed he and Amal have never had a proper ‘fight’ during the years they’ve been together because he’s at the ‘point in life’ where he doesn’t feel the need to ‘be right’
The couple recently moved from Los Angeles with their children – Ella and Alexander, who turn nine on June 6 – and now live part-time in an 18th century villa in southern France
The former ER star recently revealed the couple has stopped visiting dangerous places since becoming parents to their twins.
‘Well, you have to be careful, right? You can’t just go swinging as you used to. And Amal and I both had to change our goals on where we would go,’ he told People.
‘I used to enjoy going in places that were dangerous. I liked going into the Nuba Mountains and Darfur and Abyei, and there were war zones. And I found it exhilarating. And Amal was in a bunker in Beirut for two years doing the court cases.’
‘We had to make decisions not to do that once we had kids. You had to change sort of what the rules were,’ he added.
The family now lives part-time in an 18th century villa outside the town of Brignoles in southern France.
