Fans insisted the picture looked ‘nothing’ like Gemma as they pointed out the photoshop fail.
Others noted the hypocrisy of Gemma ‘editing’ her photos while preaching body positivity and confidence.

During her appearance in I’m A Celebrity South Africa, Gemma was praised for opening up about her body issues.
After taking a dip in the waterfall with her co-stars, Gemma went onto chat about her weight where she proudly declared ‘People come in different shapes and sizes’.
‘I’ve gone past the point in caring about what I look like’, Gemma told Scarlett Moffatt.
‘We’re under scrutiny all the time and I never used to worry about it, but because everyone goes on about body image, you become thinking you’re disgusting and ugly everyday because of all the pressure and people saying horrible things and actually I’m just alright as I am you know.’
She added in the Bush Telegraph: ‘This is me. I get sick of it, this diet, that diet, this pen, that pen.
‘At the end of the day we just have to accept all of us come in different shapes and sizes and we can all be beautiful in our own way.
‘It’s really in the heart, beauty is in the eye of the beholder at the end of the day.’
Gemma captioned her post: ‘Mum and Dad were out last night. My handsome LOVE. We had a lovely wedding of dear friends Ryan and Hannah congratulations’.

Gemma is a step-mother to Rami’s seven-year-old son Tristan.
She and Rami first dated in 2011, enjoying an on-off romance for three years, which included a Christmas 2012 proposal. But they went on to split in 2014.
The reality star rekindled her romance with the businessman in 2020 after her split from TOWIE co-star James ‘Arg’ Argent.
In 2024, Gemma announced she was engaged again after Rami proposed and they plan on actually saying ‘I do’ later this year.
Speaking about her upcoming nuptials, Gemma recently explained that she wants a main ceremony in the UK, a second taking place abroad and then a ‘formal one’ for their closest family and friends.
In true GC style, she added that multiple celebrations means she is also planning to have several different wedding dresses.
