Fleetwood Mac’s Mick Fleetwood secretly ties the knot

Fleetwood Mac drummer Mick Fleetwood has secretly got married for the fifth time.

The British rocker, 78, gave fans a glimpse of his sun-soaked honeymoon in the South Pacific by posting intimate photos with his new wife on social media.

Mick’s romantic history is almost as storied as his illustrious career – from marrying the same woman twice to having affairs with best friends and bandmate Stevie Nicks.

The drummer shared an image of him kissing his new wife by the sea with a gold wedding ring on his finger.

Mick wore a black floral shirt and distinctive pink hat, while his partner was dressed in an elegant white dress with feather detailing.

He captioned it: ‘The south Pacific does its magic!!! A honeymoon with my love Elizabeth… creating moments to be remembered!! Sun health and happiness!!’

In an attempt to keep fans guessing the Fleetwood Mac star didn’t show his bride’s face but the Daily Mail understands her to be California-born Elizabeth Jordan, 56, his partner of six years.

The pair made their first public appearance together in 2023, attending the 65th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles together.

They quietly got engaged last year, according to Mick’s musician friend, Mike Lawson, who posted about their upcoming wedding on Threads at the time.

He wrote: ‘Mick Fleetwood just texted and said he is marrying his girlfriend of five years, Elizabeth. How cool, finding love and making that commitment is beautiful. Congrats! @mickfleetwoodofficial.’

The news has sent shockwaves through the Fleetwood Mac fanbase, with many admitting they had no idea the legendary drummer, originally from Cornwall, was planning a wedding.

‘Honestly I’m slow, how does everyone know Mick is getting married again?’ wrote one confused fan on X.

Elizabeth – who has two children from a previous relationship – is based in Hawaii, where she runs a property management company with homes in Maui, California and New York.

She is the executive director of Mick’s eponymous charitable foundation, which was set up in 2023 to promote music education in Hawaiian schools.

Elizabeth is said to be very adventurous and loves outdoor activities including skiing, surfing, travelling, hiking and fishing.

Mick had a brief but notorious affair with bandmate Stevie Nicks while recording the Fleetwood Mac album Rumours

Mick’s first marriage was to model Jenny Boyd – younger sister of fellow model Pattie Boyd, who also married music legends George Harrison and Eric Clapton.

Their relationship was so volatile they ended up marrying twice, first in 1970 – before divorcing in 1976 – then again in 1977 during a tour in Ireland. The couple, who have two daughters called Amy and Lucy, split for good in 1978.

Following that tumultuous chapter, Mick had a brief but notorious affair with bandmate Stevie while recording the Fleetwood Mac album Rumours.

Stevie, now 77, later revealed the dalliance was ‘the biggest surprise’ but acknowledged it ‘really wasn’t good for anybody’ given Mick’s family situation.

He then married Sara Recor – Stevie’s best friend – in 1988 in a wedding attended by Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Jeff Lynne and Chubby Checker. However, they divorced in 1995.

Mick’s third and longest marriage was to Lynn Frankel, whom he wed in 1995. They were together for nearly 20 years and had twin daughters, Ruby and Tessa, born in 2002.

The drummer filed for legal separation in 2013, with their divorce finalised in November 2015.

In a recent interview, Mick reflected on the difficult period following his split from Lynn and the death of Fleetwood Mac singer-songwriter Christine McVie in 2022.

He admitted: ‘It’s been a strange time for me. Losing sweet Christine was catastrophic. And then, in my world, sort of losing the band too.

‘And I [split] with my partner as well. I just found myself sort of licking my wounds.’

Christine died aged 79 following a stroke and a diagnosis of metastatic cancer.

The band has since remained on hiatus, with both Mick and Stevie stating there’s ‘no reason’ to continue without her.

However, the news of his marriage to Elizabeth suggests Mick has found happiness despite professional uncertainty.

One of rock’s most enduring figures, Mick co-founded Fleetwood Mac in 1967 and has been the band’s steady presence through countless lineup changes and relationship dramas.

The band has sold more than 120million records worldwide, with their 1977 release Rumours remaining one of the best-selling albums of all time.
