Ferne McCann has revealed that she has turned to God to save her relationship with fiancé Lorri Haines, months after being forced to hit back at split rumours.
The TOWIE star, 35, denied claims back in November that she’d parted ways with businessman, 35, with whom she shares two-year-old daughter Finty.
Ferne, who is also mum to daughter Sunday, eight, from her relationship with jailed ex Arthur Collins, confessed that she and Lorri had in fact considered splitting, but now their newfound religion had both ‘saved and strengthened’ the relationship.
Last year Ferne she also admitted that she and Lorri slept in separate bedrooms – after confessing they previously sought help from an intimacy coach.
Now in new interview, she said: ‘I would be lying if I said there weren’t moments that it had both crossed our mind, And that’s just me being completely honest, as honest as I probably have been in a long time in an interview.
‘I really believe that actually welcoming God into our lives and into our relationship, and actually working on the relationship and just being more honest with each other… don’t get me wrong, there are still times when I think he’s really frustrating, like all relationships.

She told The Mirror: ‘But I strongly believe that having that relationship with God, and strengthening my faith with God and Jesus Christ, and really exploring that, has not only saved our relationship, but has made it even better than it was when I first met him.’
Earlier this year Ferne opened up about the ‘ups and downs’ of her relationship with fiancé Lorri after claims they’d parted ways after ‘one big blow out over something and nothing’.
She told OK! magazine of the break-up speculation: ‘My heart sank – I even had family members messaging me and asking what had happened. But we are good. We feel like we have to justify ourselves sometimes because, you know, every couple has their ups and downs.
‘I think this is my first proper relationship and we are juggling so much with businesses and raising our children together; we’re a blended family, with lots of different personalities. Don’t get me wrong, we’re not constantly upbeat and positive, but we’re very much together and doing life together.’
She added of their busy lives: ‘When you’ve got multiple children, it’s a lot. We’re both busy working and it’s like any household, it’s about the moving parts. Sometimes we can be like passing ships if he’s in the office and I’m working – it can be tough.’
Ferne went on to say that she found the speculation on social media difficult as she found herself focusing on the ‘negative comments’, but added that she does have a ‘thick skin’ after years of being in the industry.
She added that it could have been easy for her to feel ‘anxious’ about the split rumours but instead she opted to just ‘park it’ and ‘move forward’.
It comes as Ferne revealed what she eats in a day in an Instagram clip earlier this year and said her number one rule is that ‘everything has to be high protein and delicious’.

The I’m A Celebrity star shared the video on her nutrition page called @fernutrition, giving fans an insightful look into her balanced cuisine.
The former TOWIE icon looked stunning as she beamed at the beginning of the clip, sporting a chic white shirt and a red headband.
Ferne has been an advocate for healthy nutrition and fitness, and is not one to gate-keep her secrets from fans.
Showing her followers what her typical day in the kitchen looks like, she started off penning: ‘My rule of thumb: everything has to be high in protein, healthy and delicious.’
She then proceeded to show her first breakfast, made of multivitamin with a protein meal-replacement smoothie with creatine.
For her ‘mid-morning protein snack’ she treated herself to a delicious plate of sour cream and chive protein chips, alongside a spicy cottage cheese dip.
Meanwhile her lunch was made up of sardines on sourdough toast, topped with sliced cherry tomatoes and fresh coriander.
For her dinner, which usually takes place around 5.30pm, Ferne enjoyed a tasty bun-less burger with high protein burger sauce, wrapped in courgette and carrot ribbon
