The extreme things Brits are doing to take their air fryers on holiday

The extreme things Brits are doing to take their air fryers on holiday,

It might seem surprising, but more and more Brits are taking their air fryer on holiday with them.

In fact, one in five have said they’ve taken their favourite appliance for a trip abroad.

Some have even started using AO’s new air fryer suitcase to transport their beloved cooker to a hot and sunny destination this summer.

One of these people is Matthew Haywood, who even gave his air fryer a name – Archie.

In a video, he can be seen “having a morning coffee” with Archie, offering the appliance a sip of his cappuccino.

Matthew then rolls his air fryer through the check-in desk, where a Jet2 staff member confesses it’s “the first air fryer I’ve ever seen checked in”.

Matthew then sends his suitcase off on the conveyor belt, and says: “I hope he makes it through safely.”

In the next clip, Matthew is seen celebrating as his air fryer has “made it to Spain” safe and sound.

It meant he could easily cook Croque Monsieurs for himself and his girlfriend to eat by the Eiffel Tower

“It’s all in good condition as well,” he adds.

Another air fryer obsessive who took his cooker away with him is Jed Barker – who claims the air fryer suitcase is “the coolest suitcase I’ve ever had in my life”.

The content creator flew to Paris with his girlfriend, and cooked her a Croque Monsieur under the Eiffel Tower.

“And because I already had something to cook it in, all I needed to buy was the ingredients,” he says.

“To be clear, I’m bringing this AO air fryer suitcase on every trip with me from now on.”

After cooking his Croque Monsieur and eating it under the Eiffel Tower, Jed finishes: “No wonder so many people take their air fryer on holiday.

“It’s saved us so much time and money and given us the best Paris experience we could ask for.”

It comes after Daily Mail’s deputy travel editor Hayley Minn tested out the air fryer suitcase to see just how practical it is.

But the real test for this suitcase was how much I was going to be able to fit into it around the 4-litre Russell Hobbs 27160 SatisFry. Spoiler alert: not much
