Dancing On Ice star Mark Hanretty has shared a glimpse into his idyllic cottage in the Peak District.
The professional skater, 41, has listed his stunning two-bedroom home on the market with Purplebricks for £285,000.
Following Dancing On Ice’s axe last year, Mark has continued to skate regularly as well as a professional coach in Nottingham.
The Scottish star, who shares two children with his wife Kathy Hanretty, decided to sell his family holiday home to invest his earnings in other properties.
When Mark first purchased the cottage, nestled in the Derbyshire Dales, he spent thousands of pounds modernising the stone-based property.
It boasts its own private court yard, a modern kitchen feature a Belfast sink and natural lighting beaming throughout the rooms.
Spread across three floors, all rooms in the property are of a good size with high ceilings.

Mark said: ‘Bakewell has such an appeal, it is the perfect place to spend an easy, happy weekend. We love it here. And when we don’t stay, we use it as a holiday let which has been super successful.’
‘Purplebricks makes the whole selling process so much more seller friendly’, he added.
‘I feel I have much more control and awareness of the process through them and they were so straight forward and helpful on the valuation.
‘I think I was scared of the concept of selling but with Purplebricks I have been amazed by how easy it has been.
‘They have made things so much more navigable with everything else I have going on in my life.’
When Mark announced his exit from the hit show in October 2024, fans were devastated.
At the time Mark described his exit as ‘the end of an era’ with tearful fans expressing their dismay that the ‘mesmerising’ dancer would ‘leave a huge gap in the show’.
Two years on, Mark finally revealed the reason he left the show.

He said: ‘I left because I had done 12 years and wasn’t sure if it would return in 2026 but I felt 2025 was the right time for me to leave.
‘So yeah, I decided it was going to be my final season before anyone knew it wasn’t coming back after the 2025 series, I was conscious of my career going forward.
‘I am trying to move more into commentary and punditry. The whole Dancing On Ice team was like a family and it was one of the best jobs I have ever had but I felt the move was right for my family.
‘It was a pleasure to work with Holly [Willoughby], the judges and the team behind the scenes and whilst our lives have all moved on to different things now, they’ll all hold a very special and happy place in my memories.
‘I sincerely wish them all well as they navigate their new paths beyond the show too.’
