Cruz Beckham looked delighted to be back on the road on Thursday, as he was spotted getting behind the wheel of his vintage 1980s car, six months after he lost his licence.
The youngest Beckham son, 21, flashed a smile as he picked up a group of pals in Notting Hill, including Gray Gardner – the 19-year-old son of David’s close friend, Dave Gardner.
Cruz cut a casual figure for the outing in blue striped trainers, jogging bottoms and his own merch, sporting a black hoodie from his Cruz Beckham and The Breakers tour, with the band’s faces emblazoned on the front.
Sliding behind the wheel of his light green Mercedes SL sport, he looked raring to get back to cruising again, following his driving ban last year.
The singer had his licence revoked in November after receiving his second speeding ticket, only two years after passing his test.
One of his offences – believed to be the latter of the two – took place on September 2, when he told his followers on Instagram that he had ‘just got done for doing 24 in a 20’.

He followed it by sharing a quote from Wes Anderson’s The Phoenician Scheme, that read: ‘Games gone. Myself I feel very safe.’
If a driver gets six or more penalty points within two years of passing their test, their licence is revoked by the DVLA.
Cruz was said at the time to be ‘gutted’ to have his licence taken away from him so soon after getting it, but had ‘taken it on the chin’.
A source close to him told the Mail: ‘Cruz is gutted about it. It was a couple of speeding tickets which are so easy to come by these days with 20mph zones. It’s infuriating but he seems to have accepted it and taken it on the chin.’
To be allowed back on the roads, he needed to reapply for a provisional licence and pass both the theory and practical driving tests again.
He passed his test back in September 2023, taking to Instagram to show him celebrating with a trip to a McDonald’s drive-thru, while parents David and Victoria also shared their pride on social media.
Cruz is a car fanatic, owning a trendy burgundy Land Rover as well as his 1980s Mercedes, with friends pointing out that he is ‘an old soul’.
While he and Gray were spending time with their friends in London, their two dads were also hanging out together over the board in Napa.

Cruz appears to have not only taken after his footballer father with his friends, but also has followed in his footsteps in terms of driving blunders.
In January 2018, David was caught driving a loaned Bentley at 59mph in a 40mph zone, but avoided prosecution when lawyer Nick Freeman – known as Mr Loophole – told magistrates the speeding notice arrived a day late.
But the England star wasn’t as lucky in May 2019, when he was banned for six months for using his mobile phone while driving.
He pleaded guilty after a court heard how he was photographed by a member of the public holding a phone as he drove his Bentley in ‘slowly moving’ traffic in Central London.
David received six points on his licence to add to the six he already had for previous speeding offences, bringing him to the 12-point limit.
Cruz’s outing comes after he struggled to hold back tears in March while performing a song widely thought to be about his older brother Brooklyn’s family estrangement.
The ambitious young musician and his band The Breakers were performing to a full house at London’s Courtyard Theatre on his debut tour.
But he lost his characteristically cool composure while performing the group’s new single, Loneliest Boy – understood to be filled with barely veiled references to his wayward brother’s continued absence.
With his other brother Romeo, 23, and supportive parents David and Victoria watching from the audience, Cruz faltered over the song’s plaintive lyrics, prompting band-member Dan Ewins to drape a reassuring arm across his shoulders.
Emotions appeared to run high as the tearful singer wiped his eyes with a baggy shirt-sleeve while delivering the track’s chorus, which features the telling lyrics, ‘Loneliest boy, mama don’t talk too much, it’s breaking her heart’.

Looking on from their seats at the tiny east London venue, his family members were visibly moved by the performance, with Romeo seen wiping away a tear as he looked up at the stage.
One concert-goer told The Mirror: ‘At one point during the song, he seemed overcome with emotion as his bandmate put his arm around his shoulder and affectionately ruffled his hair.’
Fans have been left convinced that the song is about the bitter rift between Brooklyn, 27, and his family, after he publicly cut all ties with them in his scathing six-page statement.
Additional lyrics read: ‘It shows in the small things that you don’t do, I guess in the end that it’s you, yourself, and you. Tell me how do you live, when you’ve got nobody to lose?
‘Loneliest boy, place all your bets on him, To find something bad in somebody good, he always does, Loneliest boy, I hope that you’re listening, Don’t push all your friends away, when we’re tryna show you love.’
Elsewhere, the chorus reads: ‘So tell me you’re scared, and that you need someone to hold. Cause you’re in the room but really, does it even show?
