Cruz Beckham confirms mum Victoria has removed all of her tattoos

Cruz Beckham has revealed his mum Victoria has had all of her tattoos removed – including her tributes to husband David.

The former Spice Girl-turned fashion designer, 51, previously had six inkings across her body, including a Hebrew poem on her back.

However, her youngest son Cruz, 21, has confirmed to intrigued fans that she has had each one removed.

Hosting a question and answers session with his Instagram followers on Wednesday, one fan asked: ‘Does Victoria Beckham have any tattoos? I know that David has many.’

Cruz replied: ‘No not anymore x.’

Victoria previously had her husband’s initials, DB, and the words ‘Together, forever, eternally’ written in Hebrew on her left wrist – chosen to mark their tenth wedding anniversary.

She also had the numerals VIII-V-MMVI below it, which translated to May 8, 2006, the day she and David, 50, renewed their wedding vows.

Directly above, she had the words ‘De Integro’, which mean ‘again from the start’.

On her lower back, Victoria had five stars tattooed, with each representing herself, David and their three sons; Cruz, Romeo, 23, and estranged Brooklyn, 27.

It is not known if Posh Spice had another star added to symbolise Harper, following her birth in 2011.

Above it, and going down her back was a Hebrew poem which read: ‘Ani l’dodi li va’ani lo haro’eh bashoshanim’.

The large inking, which she once proudly showed off and that David also has on his arm, translates to ‘I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine.’

Victoria’s rebranding is not recent, and in 2022 she spoke out about her tattoos disappearing after eagle-eyed fans noticed.

She had left them ‘fascinated’ after they first noticed she’d had her wrist inkings removed in a beauty video.

Speaking on The Today Show, she explained: ‘I had these tattoos a long long time ago and they just weren’t particularly delicate.

‘Mine were just a little bit thick and they were bleeding a little bit and they just weren’t as pretty. They just didn’t look so nice. It doesn’t mean anything more than that.

She concluded: ‘I was just a bit sick of the tattoo. It’s as simple as that.’

Typically, laser tattoo removal uses beams of coloured light to break down the ink into minuscule fragments, which can then be absorbed into the bloodstream and excreted via the liver and digestive system. Private clinics charge around £150 per session for a small tattoo and up to £800 for a larger one.

Eight to 10 sessions are typically needed for large tattoos.

The procedure can cause temporary discomfort, blistering and redness, and the tattoo almost never completely disappears. Figures show almost a fifth of Britons have at least one tattoo.

While Victoria has removed her tattoos, her husband still boasts dozens across his body, with her sons also carrying their own inkings now.

Brookyn cut ties with his family in a scathing social media statement in January, declaring he has no plans to reconcile with his famous parents and accusing them of ‘controlling him for most of his life’.

Since then, Brooklyn has covered many of the tattoos he’s had in honour of his family, including a tribute to his father.

Brooklyn still has his ‘brotherhood’ tattoo on his right leg, as well as a ballerina tattoo on his calf, which he’d had in tribute to his little sister Harper, 14.

Brooklyn’s ‘brotherhood’ tattoo matches the inkings his brothers Romeo and Cruz had in 2023, after visiting the fine line tattoo artist Pablo, also known by his online username Certified Letter Boy.

While Brooklyn and Romeo both have the design on their leg, Cruz has the inking on his hand.

What do you think drives celebrities to remove tattoos that once meant so much to them?

Back in February, it was revealed that Brooklyn has covered up his tattoo tribute to his dad David, having previously had the word Dad inked into his upper right arm.

Directly underneath was the message ‘Love you Bust’ – David’s endearing nickname for his first born.

However, pictures taken last week showed Brooklyn has covered it up with nondescript shapes and a star.

His dad’s nickname text is also faded and less prominent.

Brooklyn also previously had his siblings Romeo, Cruz and Harper’s names tattooed on his fingers, but recent images showed these have been covered up.

The self-proclaimed tattoo addict – unveiled the words ‘mama’s boy’ on his chest in 2019 to honour his fashion designer mother Victoria.

But last June, Brooklyn went shirtless for a shoot with Glamour Germany alongside Nicola – and the snaps were very revealing.

Amid the then ongoing feud, the shoot for Glamour magazine revealed that Brooklyn has savagely chosen to cover up the tattoo tribute to Victoria.

The small two-word inking was layered at some point with a bunch of flowers – seemingly another tattoo tribute to his wife Nicola, of which he already has more than 70.
