Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet’s romance caused shock around the globe when their union came to light in 2023.
The unlikely pairing of the busty, bikini-loving reality star and the arthouse-starring, indie actor left fans scratching their heads – and on Sunday night their differences were perfectly illustrated in a hilarious snap at the Golden Globes.
The couple, aged 28 and 30 respectively, were seated at their table in the Beverly Hilton Hotel for the A-list packed ceremony, during which the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star stuck out her tongue and flashed her two middle fingers.
While Kylie was pulling the silly pose – which one X user deemed ‘classless’ – Timothée remained entirely straight-faced and glared into the camera.
X users flooded the site to point out the stark differences between the pair, as their pairing was considered to have ‘crazy girlfriend, calm boyfriend energy’, while claimed he looked ‘sick of her’ – contrary to their steamy PDA through the night.

The dup were hitting headlines throughout the evening when their steamy romance sent fans wild due to their hot and heavy behaviour.
They shared a number of kisses, while the reality star placed a gentle hand on the victor’s lap prior to his Best Actor win for Marty Supreme.
Flooding X with excited reaction, fans of the pair observed that the PDA-heavy duo were ‘obsessed with each other’ while fan pages shared videos of their kisses.
At the Critics’ Choice Awards earlier this month, Timothée made his most open profession about his girlfriend, saying: ‘Thank you to my partner of three years. Thank you for our foundation. I love you. I couldn’t do this without you.’
In his speech on Sunday evening, he simply stated: ”For my parents, for my partner – I love you so much’, during which Kylie snapped pictures of her boyfriend before he returned to his seat for another smooching session.
The couple have been extremely private about their three-year relationship up until his shock professions of love during award season.
Last year, they left jaws dropping at the LA premiere for Marty Supreme, when they sported matching orange outfits – in a shift from Timothée’s usual indie style.
Industry sources told Page Six: ‘Timmy’s been “Kardashian-ized”. Both Timmy and Kylie are just into a different genre, the way they think about life and how they want to live. He has pretty lofty goals.’
The duo – whose mutual friend is designer Haider Ackermann – met as far back as 2019 at Nobu Malibu, but they didn’t confirm their romance until 2023.
Timothée previously dated his The King co-star Lily-Rose Depp, Extrapolations actress Eiza González and Madonna’s eldest Lourdes Leon.
Kylie meanwhile shares two children – Stormi, 7, and Aire, 4 – with AstroWorld founder Travis Scott and is said to have previously dated Cody Simpson, Jaden Smith, Justin Bieber, Tyga and PartyNextDoor.
