Conor McGregor breaks silence with bizarre post after ‘nudes’ scandal

Conor McGregor broke his silence online amid controversy Monday evening to share a bizarre message to himself.

The disgraced UFC fighter once again found himself embroiled in scandal earlier in the day when rapper Azealia Banks shared alleged nude photos of McGregor, which she claimed he sent to her unprompted.

Banks’ accusations came after McGregor, who has been engaged to his fiancée Dee Devlin since August 2020, was caught packing on the PDA with a mystery bikini-clad woman on a Florida beach over the weekend.

Yet, the multiple controversies appeared to be no cause for concern for the Irishman, who refused to acknowledge them on social media.

Instead, McGregor opted to wish himself a happy birthday on X, formerly known as Twitter, Monday evening. He turned 37 on July 14.

‘Happy birthday to me!’ McGregor wrote in a tongue-in-cheek message to his 10.6 million followers.

Rapper Azealia Banks accused the UFC legend of sending alleged nudes to her unprompted

Instead of addressing the controversy, the Irishman wished himself a happy birthday

Earlier on Monday, Banks, who is known for getting into high-profile feuds on social media, posted two shocking photos seemingly of McGregor posing in the mirror while completely naked, which she alleges he sent to her via direct message on X despite not following him.

‘How you gonna send a b**** a some crooked d*** pics then threaten her not to tell,’ she wrote alongside the screenshots. ‘@TheNotoriousMMA n**** do you know who the f*** I am? This is HARAM’.

Banks then continued: ‘Like how are you really going to sexually harrass me with the potato farmer d*** then threaten me not to tell???? Honey…… ain’t u trying to be the president of Ireland what is it giving fam? Use some f***ing sunscreen damn’.

As well as the alleged nude selfies, the screenshots also show a message from what appears to be McGregor’s account reading: ‘Don’t be a rat cos all rats get caught’.

Alongside one image which seemingly shows his manhood strapped to a dumbbell, the Irish fighter apparently wrote: ‘Lifting weights’.

Banks then shared another screenshot of the alleged pictures suddenly being ‘hidden’ on X because she does not follow McGregor’s account. Although it is unclear if he had anything to do with that change, she commented: ‘The motherf***er woke up early LOL.’

DailyMail.com has reached out to the last-known attorneys on record for Conor McGregor, his agent and Azealia Banks’ agent for comment.

Banks’ explosive accusations came after McGregor was captured smooching a mystery brunette in full view of fellow beachgoers in Fort Lauderdale over the weekend.

McGregor has been engaged to longtime partner Dee Devlin (pictured) since August 2020

A beaming McGregor was all over the unknown woman during a beach day in Fortwife Lauderdale, Florida, with his loyal partner Dee Devlin nowhere in sight.

McGregor was spotted enjoying a cold beverage while the woman, who was dressed in a racy leopard print bikini, shared his sun lounger.

The pair chatted away in the shade as the sportsman cozied up to her by wrapping his arm around her back.

McGregor showed off his muscular physique in a pair of green swimming trunks as he made his way to cool off in the ocean with the woman and another female friend.

The athlete and his mystery woman woman were later spotted standing up and chatting as she wrapped herself in a yellow and white striped towel.

Shortly after the damning snaps emerged, his fiancée Devlin, who shares four children with the fighter, broke her silence on the cheating scandal.

Appearing nonplussed by his freshest scandal, Devlin brushed off the photos as she posted her own birthday tribute to her long-term partner on Monday.

She shared a post from a fan account on her Instagram story which read: ‘Happy Birthday to the person who always keeps Dee entertained and makes her smile.’

McGregor has not fought in the UFC in four years and has previously claimed he's retired

Conor has been engaged to Dee since August 2020, with the MMA star proposing while he celebrated his 32rd birthday in the south of France.

They have been together since 2008 and have four children in Conor Jr, 8, Croia Mairead, 6, Rian, 4, and Mack, 1.

Last year a jury also found McGregor liable after he was accused in a civil case of sexually assaulting a woman in a hotel room back in December 2018.

The former two-weight UFC champion, who is appealing that verdict, is alleged to have choked the complainant and made her fear for her life in a hotel room.

He has faced no criminal charges related to the incident and instead argues that the pair had consensual sex.

McGregor is also facing another civil lawsuit for sexual battery in Florida following an alleged incident at a 2023 NBA Finals game in Miami, with a 49-year-old Miami-Dade County resident accusing him of sexually assaulting her in a bathroom. He denied the allegations back in 2023, with his attorney Barbara Llanes insisting her client would ‘not be intimidated’, and he has faced no criminal charges for that either.

Just last month McGregor was also captured punching a man to the floor during a boozy party at an exclusive club in Ibiza, before he was allowed to continue partying.
