She has long been known for her blonde bombshell looks.

And on Monday, Charlize Theron turned heads as she showed off her incredible figure in a yellow bikini on the beach of Hawaii during spring break.

The actress, 50, has left fans pondering about how she maintains her insane figure and radiant looks while juggling such a successful career.

From starring and producing movies to leading her charity, the CTAOP foundation, Charlize still manages to find time for herself.

She previously told Marie Claire that she’s ‘lucky I’ve never been a couch potato’.

But just how does she do it? Here are the diet, fitness and skincare steps the actress takes to look her best.

How to get a body like Charlize Theron: The secret to star's youthful glow and incredible figure at 50 is revealed after she wowed in a bikini while spending spring break in Hawaii
When it comes to diet, Charlize favours plant-based raw foods - although she does indulge in meat occasionally

For fitness, Charlize has a disciplined routine of Pilates, power yoga, spin classes, and outdoor activities like tennis.

‘(I work out) three to four times a week,’ she previously told Red magazine.

‘I’ve always believed if you find something you love, exercise won’t be a chore.

‘If you do exercise you enjoy, you’re keeping yourself fit without even realising it.’

In 2020, Charlize opened up about her love of Pilates and how it ‘totally changed my body’.

She told Harper’s Bazaar: ‘I’m always calculating my activity.

‘If I haven’t been moving a lot, I can’t eat a lot. But I’m honest with myself.’

As well as Pilates, the actress swears by power yoga and does two 90-minute classes weekly.

Spin is one of her favourite exercises, and she goes up to four times per week.

She’ll even hit the tennis court for a spot of cardio.

However, the actress admitted that her body takes longer to recover now than when she was younger.

‘More than my face, I wish I had my 25-year-old body that I can just throw against the wall and not even hurt tomorrow,’ she told Allure.

‘Now, if I don’t work out for three days and I go back to the gym, I can’t walk. I can’t sit down on the toilet.’

When it comes to diet, Charlize favours plant-based raw foods – although she does indulge in meat occasionally.

She avoids alcohol and focuses each meal on protein-packed vegetables, dark leafy greens, and fruit.

According to Women’s Health, she eats six small meals throughout the day.

She practices portion control but will have a quarter of a burger when she feels like indulging.

‘I have juices and kale and green salads every single day,’ she told Red magazine.

‘When I’m eating healthily, getting enough sleep, and not drinking alcohol, that’s when I look my best.

‘That’s when I’m happiest and I think it shows.’

The actress, now 50, has barley aged a day (pictured in 1996)

When it comes to skincare, Charlize previously revealed that it wasn’t until her 30s that she began to develop a routine.

‘In my 20s I would sleep with my make-up on, wake up the next morning, and use a Q-tip to clean it up and go right back out into the world,’ she told Harper’s Bazaar.

‘And then you hit your mid or late 30s and you’re like, ‘Oh, so this is why they make moisturisers for your face!’

‘I think the older you get, the more you want to feel good about your skin.’

The actress wears SPF 50 sunscreen every day, regardless of the weather.

Her favourites include La Prairie Cellular Radiance Emulsion SPF 30, and La Roche-Posay’s cult sunscreen for super-sunny days.

At night, she applies a serum, eye cream, and a good moisturiser.

She also gets a facial from Mila Moursi in Los Angeles every three weeks.

Despite being framed for her looks, Charlize has revealed that she isn’t afraid of ageing.

‘My face is changing, and I love that my face is changing and ageing,’ she told Allure.

‘People think I had a facelift. They’re like, ‘What did she do to her face?’ I’m like, ‘B***h, I’m just aging! It doesn’t mean I got bad plastic surgery. This is just what happens.’
