An influencer and ex-Love Island contestant has come under fire after she began filming herself just moments after she crashed her motorbike in Thailand.
Chanse Corbi, who appeared on Season 4 of Love Island USA in 2022, was seen dabbing at her bloody wounds while wearing only a tiny red bikini in the video.
The 24-year-old said she fell off her motorbike after getting caught in a pothole at the entrance of a busy motorway while solo travelling.
‘At least I didn’t lose my leg,’ she captioned a video shared to social media.
‘This happened three months ago, I’m much better now.’
Corbi took the opportunity to spruik the bikini brand she was wearing during the crash, offering her followers 15 per cent off if they used her discount code.
Her decision to film herself after the crash and to only wear a bikini in culturally conservative Thailand drew widespread backlash from viewers.
‘Filming this in underwear in public, bleeding, adding music. Humans! Wow,’ one said.
‘Maybe next time you won’t ride a motorcycle in your underwear. What are you trying to prove?’ another wrote.
‘Setting your camera up before addressing your wounds is so f***d up,’ a third wrote.
‘Have some respect for the country you are in and dress decently when riding,’ a fourth commented.
‘Sure, film it. Don’t call the ambulance,’ another wrote.
Corbi was later treated for her wounds in hospital.
She shared a video peeling the dressing from a large wound on her thigh.
‘That’s disgusting,’ an onlooker was heard saying.
‘I’ve got to show my friends at home,’ Corbi replied.
Other viewers praised Corbi’s high pain threshold as she cleaned the horrific wounds all over her body in the aftermath of the crash.
‘She’s tough,’ one person wrote.
‘Well, you took that fall like a boss,’ a second said.
Corbi lasted 22 days on Season 4 of Love Island USA.
She describes herself as a certified travel agent on her social media and is currently travelling in Australia, most recently in Airlie Beach, Queensland.
