Tennis camera crew caught discussing Carol Vorderman’s sex life

A tennis camera crew have been left ‘mortified’ after being picked up on a hot mic speculating about Carol Vorderman’s sex life during a live broadcast.

The embarrassing incident took place at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart during a practice court session between Alex Eala and Iga Swiatek, with the workers unaware their salacious conversation in a public area was being televised.

The match was being broadcast on the official tournament website and fans tuning in were baffled by what they heard, with the footage and audio making waves on social media after being shared by user ‘@stanpokey’.

The three men’s conversation was about the former Countdown star and TV presenter, now 65, with one man suggesting she has had a ‘butt lift’, a claim she has previously denied.

Another man then says: ‘She’s come out and says that she’s in like an open relationship with five or six guys.

‘With five or six guys?’ another questioned.

‘Good girl. Wow’, says the third.

According to Wales Online, none of the men caught on the hot mic are associated with the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) and all three are said to be ‘mortified’, with staff reminded of their responsibilities.

At another point in the conversation, one man says: ‘I follow her on Instagram, because she’s from Southampton.

‘You’re such a stalker’, comes the reply.

Vorderman’s representatives have been contacted for comment.

She has previously spoken candidly about her personal relationships. In 2023, she said: ‘Half of first marriages end in divorce, and nearly three quarters of second marriages end in divorce. So I prefer to live my life in chapters.

‘I have ignored the looking for one person and I have a number of what I’ve called “special friends”.

‘They don’t know each other, but they know about it. It’s a very honest relationship.

‘I’ve been married, very happily married, and then suddenly I wasn’t and we had two lovely children and all of that. But I don’t want to be in a relationship because I love my life. And I love my mates and you know, my son and I live together and I don’t have time for it.

Vorderman proudly admitted she loves being called a MILF, having reclaimed the word

‘So, I’ve only time for the nice bits. So that’s all I want. And everybody is single and they are all successful in their way and funny and good company and all that. If you do no harm, you can do whatever the hell else you like.’

Vorderman later added: ‘One’s 11 years (length of their relationship), one’s seven years, you know everyone is single. It’s a happy place. I hasten to add I’m not into one night stands.’

‘The language around a woman of my generation is that if you had more than one partner when you got married you were this you were that. Everything was derogatory about a woman, that was the environment I was growing up in. It was like “she’s desperate”, everything was judgmental.

‘Well you can take all that and you can throw it out the window, that’s my polite way of saying it.’
