Queen recycles her designer favourites on tour of Australia and Samoa

Queen recycles her designer favourites on tour of Australia and Samoa,

King Charles and Queen Camilla have successfully wrapped up their official tour of Australia and Samoa.

Throughout this royal visit, Camilla’s wardrobe has held special significance, featuring pieces from her favoured designers, Fiona Clare and Anna Valentine.

Much of her attire was recycled from previous engagements and tours, with only three new dresses introduced – striking the perfect balance.

The thoughtfully curated outfits and accessories showcase Camilla’s commitment to sustainability and her fondness for reusing pieces.

Celebrity stylist Rachel Fanconi tells MailOnline: ‘Queen Camilla has sensibly and seamlessly continued to use pieces from her spring/summer wardrobe for the Australian tour.

‘It feels like sustainability is a requirement for her outfits and the quality of the pieces and their timeless style means that they can be used for years.

‘She’s such a champion of English designers and it’s wonderful to see her showcase these pieces again around the world.’

Each look not only reflects Camilla’s personal style but also pays homage to royal traditions, blending elegance with practicality, as we explore below.

Cobalt confidence

On October 18, Queen Camilla touched down at Sydney Airport, wearing a cobalt blue Fiona Clare dress that she has worn on numerous occasions since June.

She completed the look with elegant suede pumps by Eliot Zed and her signature Van Cleef & Arpels jewellery.

Adding a personal touch, Camilla wore the Australian Wattle Brooch, a piece originally gifted to Queen Elizabeth II by the Australian government during her visit in 1954.

Graceful greenery

Camilla wore a refined, coordinated look to attend a service at St Thomas’s Anglican Church, in Sydney.

She opted for a pale green ensemble by Anna Valentine, paired with a wide-brimmed Lock & Co. hat, a Moynat handbag and her trusty Eliot Zed shoes.

Her jewellery included striking pieces by Kiki McDonough and Van Cleef & Arpels, adding timeless sophistication to her outfit – all of which she had worn before.

Silk sophistication

At the Australian War Memorial in Canberra, Camilla showcased another familiar ensemble, comprising a white silk crepe dress and coat by Anna Valentine and classic Chanel pumps.

Pinned to her outerwear was the Diamond Shell Brooch from the collection of Queen Elizabeth II, originally belonging to the Queen Mother.

Camilla added her iconic jewellery stack and an Anna Valentine x Charles Laurie London leather bag.

Blooming lovely

During her visit to the Australian National Botanic Gardens, Camilla debuted a fresh, floral look by Fiona Clare.

The blue and white design incorporated a notch neck, puff sleeves and flattering fit-and-flare silhouette that fell to the shin.

She teamed the frock with her versatile Chanel pumps and a selection of her favourite jewels.

All-white wonder

The mid-length dress, designed with subtle contrast piping to create an elongated silhouette, combined understated elegance with a flattering fit.

She completed her ensemble with neutral pumps by Eliot Zed and a gold brooch by Van Cleef & Arpels.

Designed by Anna Valentine, this feminine two-piece featured a flowing tunic paired with wide-leg trousers, seamlessly blending comfort and style.

She accessorised with a braided bag from Eliot Zed and her signature gold layered jewellery.

Evening glamour

Camilla revisited her fashion archives for an official dinner and reception honouring the Commonwealth Heads of Government in Apia, Samoa.

The sky blue tunic and trouser set by Anna Valentine had made its debut during her trip to Nairobi, Kenya, last year.

To complete the look, she adorned herself with dazzling diamond jewellery, which perfectly complemented the glittering embellishments on her attire.

Effortlessly elegant

While visiting the Samoa Victim Support Group, Camilla was immaculately dressed in an all-white ensemble by Anna Valentine.

The two-piece, consisting of a traditional tunic and palazzo trousers, made an appropriate choice for the occasion.

The outfit paired flawlessly with Camilla’s turquoise earrings, which carry special sentimental value as they were first worn at Charles’ 50th birthday celebrations in 1998.
