Scout Willis shared a new photo with her father Bruce Willis to Instagram on Thursday.
The 34-year-old daughter of Demi Moore was seen sitting on an outdoor wicker sofa with the Die Hard actor as well as her sister Tallulah.
Tallulah wore a yellow top with black leggings, dad Bruce was in a gray T-shirt and black slacks, and Scout modeled a soft pink hoodie with sweatpants.
The patriarch looked carefree as he smiled in the rare social media image. ‘Belated tidings from a summer of wonder,’ wrote Scout in her Instagram caption.
The Moonlighting star has been living in a separate residence from his wife Emma Heming Willis as he now needs nurses to tend to him as he struggles with dementia.
The Unbreakable actor was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD), which affects the brain’s lobes just behind the forehead.
That portion of the brain is responsible for problem-solving and planning skills, as well as one’s behavior and emotions.
People suffering from FTD can display significant changes in their personalities, along with difficulty speaking and obsessive behaviors.
Unlike Alzheimer’s disease, people with FTD don’t display as much difficulty with memory early on, though memory loss can become more common as the disorder progresses, according to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Earlier this month Heming said moving her husband into a separate residence was the best decision for their family.
The model and influencer, 47, has been acting as a carer for her actor husband, 70, since he was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD), and says moving Bruce into a new home where is supported by carers 24/7, has allowed her to go back to just being his wife.
She told The Sunday Times: ‘It was of the hardest decisions I ever had to make.
‘But among the sadness and discomfort, it was the right move — for him, for our girls, for me. Ultimately, I could get back to being his wife. And that’s such a gift.’
Emma added it has also given Bruce more independence, giving him the chance to reconnect with friends and family.
She explained: ‘It’s made such a difference for more friends and family to have their own experience with him without it being my home, without me hovering, or my anxiety of how to manage the guest and their expectations, and then have to see their reactions – their sadness at what is.’
And, while the whole situation has been tough for their daughters Mabel, 13, and Evelyn, 11, Emma believes the move was the best decision for them and they love to go and visit him after school.
She said: ‘You can see the tenderness of it. The girls don’t need him to be this or do that. They have really adapted to his disease, and they know how to move around him. It’s beautiful, but it’s hard for them. They miss him.’
Emma previously explained how having Bruce in the family home was affecting the girls.
She wrote in her new book The Unexpected Journey: Finding Strength, Hope, and Yourself on the Caregiving Path: ‘The truth is, Mabel and Evelyn’s daily lives were being turned upside down. For example, with FTD and other forms of dementia, some people become more sensitive to noise, which can cause distraction, confusion, and agitation.
‘So, I had everyone tiptoeing around the house to keep it as peaceful and serene as possible. This meant playdates were obsolete and forget about sleepovers.’
Also in Scout’s post she was seen kissing girls.
One of the girls was identified by Scout as Kaiman Kazazian; in the image Fred Holston looks on. The second girl is not ID’d anc could perhaps be Kazazian.
There was also an image of actor Thomas Doherty, whom the singer has been rumored to be dating for the past month. In mid August she was seen with her hand on his arm in West Hollywood.
Then there was an image of Scout’s mother Moore as they played dominos and her sister Tallulah.
Zoe Kravitz’s ex-husband Karl Glusman is also spied in the images.
Her sister Tallulah pointed out that Doherty looked like her Scout’s husband in his snapshot: ‘@thomasadoherty giving tradwife w the ironing set up LOL.’
She then added, ‘The famed bean dominos game.’
Scout was last romantically linked with Jake Miler in 2023. That same year she shared a tribute to Miller for his birthday.
‘Happy birthday to my beloved Pisces King, Grandma’s daddio, @jakelele. My love for you is eternal, the companion of my heart,’ she wrote sweetly.
In addition to posting several snaps of her boyfriend, she included a photo of the two standing on top of a mountain with gorgeous peaks and a valley in the distance.
Jake was shirtless with black jeans, while Scout opted for a simple blue bra and black pants in the loved up snap.
