Brooklyn Beckham suffers backlash from outraged followers

  • Do YOU have a story? Email tips@dailymail.com

Brooklyn Beckham divided social media followers after sharing his latest Instagram update on Sunday – and this time it had nothing to do with his cooking.

The influencer sparked concern after taking to the streets of Los Angeles for a ride on his powerful Harley Davidson chopper – a passion he appears to have inherited from dad David Beckham, another keen motorcyclist.

But unlike his safety conscious father, Brooklyn, 26, is seen cruising residential streets with his helmet visor up and attempting to blow wife Nicola Peltz a kiss while riding one-handed.

Worryingly, a second video suggested he’d even made an artful attempt at filming himself while riding at speed through the leafy Los Angeles neighbourhood.

The risky manoeuvres sparked inevitable anger from followers better used to critiquing his frequently posted cooking videos, with a handful labelling the Insta-chef’s actions ‘reckless’ and ‘dangerous’.

Commenting on the posts, one concerned follower wrote: ‘He doesn’t look like he’s paying much attention to the road, should be looking ahead and not watching her and blowing a kiss.

‘He’s behaving very childish in the way he’s not behaving responsible, I’m sure his parents would worry he’s not taking life serious seeing this video.’

A second added: ‘He wants to keep his eye on the road instead of on the camera.’

While a third raged: ‘How’s about you concentrate on the bloody road rather than blow kisses at your wife. I mean, grow up. Seriously disappointed in you.’

A fourth wrote: ‘If he had an ounce of common sense he would wear protective clothing, need I say more.’

Others jumped to his defence, with one posting: ‘All of you commenting to keep his eyes on the road. He is puttering down a street that doesn’t seem busy. Looking over his shoulder with a car next to him looks pretty safe.’

Another wrote: ‘Why is everyone so critical in this world… Just let people live. Concentrate on your lives and make them better instead of wasting your time on others.’

The son of David and Victoria Beckham found himself in another sticky situation this week after sharing a tutorial on jam making, as his feud with his parents rumbles on amid allegations of a widening family rift.

Jam has been a hot topic of late, as Meghan Markle hit headlines earlier this year for unveiling her own pricey raspberry jam, which is sold under her name, the Duchess of Sussex, by her As ever brand at a whopping £6.50 a jar.

While Meghan has been cashing in on her royal name to sell the spread, Brooklyn’s efforts were merely to teach his followers how to mimic his recipe, however he has capitalised on his culinary passion elsewhere with his hot sauce range.

His conserve-based inspiration comes after it was claimed that Prince Harry and Meghan are ‘secretly supporting’ Brooklyn and Nicola because of their ‘similar family feuds’ and have met up to discuss their issues.

Meghan and Nicola are said to have had a ‘deep and meaningful’ chat and share a bond after being accused by critics of being ‘homewreckers’ and women who ‘tear apart their husbands’ families’.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex had the couple over for dinner at their mansion in Montecito, California back in May.

Brooklyn and Nicola, who live 90 minutes away in Los Angeles, have received ‘unwavering support’ from the royals, who are said to feel ’empathetic’ towards them amid the younger couple’s tensions with David and Victoria Beckham.

‘Brooklyn and Nicola had a wonderful time and found Harry and Meghan to be particularly kind, caring and generous’, one source said today.

The Duchess of Sussex ‘has a lot of sympathy for her’ because both women have been branded ‘homewreckers’, another source familiar with the dinner claimed.
