Brooklyn Beckham ‘plans on opening burger restaurant in the US’

Brooklyn Beckham has reportedly turned to his father-in-law Nelson Peltz for help amid his ongoing feud with his family.

The aspiring chef, 26, is said to be planning on opening up a burger restaurant in the US, using the financial backing of his wife Nicola Peltz and her billionaire father.

Last month, the son of David and Victoria Beckham revealed the branding for Beck’s Buns, which came after a row with beer brand Beck’s.

Brooklyn tweaked his trademark application to include restaurants and is now said to be pushing full steam ahead with the venture.

A source told The Sun: ‘Brooklyn has long dreamed of opening a restaurant where he lives and that is finally coming to fruition.

‘He has created Beck’s Buns and quietly launched it on social media last month. Brooklyn’s company Buster Sauce Inc owns the trademark and he is planning to open a restaurant.

‘The menu is still being decided but it’ll be high quality burgers with his signature Buster hot sauces.’

The insider added that owning a restaurant is something Brooklyn has always wanted to do and he has the full support of Nicola and her father.

Daily Mail has contacted representatives of Brooklyn for comment.

Brooklyn has enjoyed stints as a footballer, photographer, and, most recently, a chef.

He launched his £15-a-bottle hot sauce Cloud 23 in October last year, inspired by his ‘journey as a tastemaker’.

Brooklyn has created two flavours for his hot sauce as well as a range of clothing merchandise.

He is in the final stages of launching his very own ‘Brand Beckham’ empire, using the name cloud 23.

The aspiring chef plans to add to his £10million fortune with a personal brand empire just like his father.

From food and drinks to clothing, Brooklyn plans to trademark items with his Cloud 23 label after setting up a Californian company called Peltz Beckham.

During the pandemic, Brooklyn launched his own Facebook Watch series – Cookin- With Brooklyn – in December 2021.

He has not claimed to have had any formal training and said he ‘just loves to cook’ as he shared his passion with his followers.

A year later, Brooklyn branched out into the drinks market as he revealed he was launching alcoholic drink brand, Wesake.

He said at the time: ‘Joining Wesake unites many of my different passions, including my fascination with Japan, cuisine, and my love for Sake.’

One of his earliest ventures was photography, where he publishing his own collection of photographs in a book titled What I See in 2017.

On one page, next to a picture of an elephant in the shadows, the caption read: ‘Elephants in Kenya. so hard to photograph, but incredible to see.’

In 2023, it was revealed Brooklyn was worth a staggering £10million after snagging contracts with Tiffany & Co, Pepe Jeans and plant-based milk, Silk.

Sources close to Brooklyn say he also makes money from his much-watched cooking videos.

He has also previously fronted campaigns on his Instagram account, which has a following of 16.4 million, with new Japanese sake brand, WESAKE, which he co-founded; Twinkly, a lighting brand; Wendy’s burger chain; and Silk Nextmilk, a plant-based milk.

It comes after Brooklyn's brother Romeo (pictured) received an outpouring of birthday tributes from his family as he turned 23, but Brooklyn continued to ignore his family's milestones

It comes after Brooklyn’s brother Romeo received an outpouring of birthday tributes from his family on Monday morning as he turned 23, but Brooklyn continued to ignore his family’s milestones.

It’s the latest family celebration Brooklyn has ignored as his feud with his parents rumbles on amid allegations of a widening family rift.

The Beckhams are said to no longer be on speaking terms with Brooklyn and Nicola who recently renewed their vows without inviting the Beckham family.

Brooklyn and his family were last pictured together on Boxing Day last year, and he has seemingly not spent any time with them in the UK since then.

He has only jetted back to his home country for work commitments since, including shooting a Moncler advert with his wife Nicola.

The Beckhams have been snubbed by Brooklyn and his wife Nicola after they said ‘I do’ for a second time on August 2 in Westchester County in front of her family, with the Beckham clan notably absent, having not been informed of the event.

Further heartache has come in the form of a leak of Brooklyn’s speech, in which he reportedly opened up on his love for the Peltz family, as well as speaking ‘movingly’ of his wife in front of the 200 guests.

A source told The Mirror: ‘He spoke from the heart – and at the centre of his heart is Nicola whom he loves very dearly, but also the Peltz family who have really stuck by his side. He wanted to recognise them all, and was determined to do them all justice.’

News of the ‘heartfelt tribute’ to billionaire Nelson Peltz, 83, and wife Claudia, 70, will no doubt add to the pain of the Beckham family amid their estrangement from Brooklyn, since it is said that no such tribute was given for his own parents.

While Brooklyn enjoyed his love-fest overseas, the Beckhams enjoyed a prolonged stint in the south of France before heading to Italy.

Brooklyn is reportedly ‘heartbroken’ over the way his wife Nicola is being ‘painted as a viper’ within their ongoing family feud.

Billionaire heiress Nicola has previously been accused of ‘isolating’ Brooklyn from not only his family, but his friends too.

New sources allege Brooklyn is not being held from making his own decisions and is ‘devastated’ over the way his wife is being portrayed.

A source told The Mirror: ‘It’s so rooted in misogyny that all of the heat for his parents not being invited is on Nicola.

‘Everyone seems to forget that Brooklyn is an adult man and fully capable of speaking out. Nicola would have respected all that he chose. It breaks Brooklyn’s heart to see his wife being painted as this vixen and viper.’
