After going through one of the most public divorces in Hollywood and having almost every detail of his split from Angelina Jolie picked apart by the entire world, Brad Pitt opted for a much more private approach when he started dating Ines de Ramon.
In fact, it wasn’t until nearly two years into their relationship that the actor, 61, and his glamorous jewelry designer girlfriend, 32, walked the red carpet together for the first time.
But last week, the once notoriously private couple proudly packed on the PDA at the premiere of his new F1 movie – flaunting their love for the entire world to see.
And the sudden 360 has raised a question: What led to them finally embracing the public eye?
Well, a source has now revealed exclusively to the Daily Mail that de Ramon didn’t want to join Pitt at star-studded events at first because she feared it would discredit her successful jewelry company Anita Ko Jewelry.
But now that the couple have gotten to a point in their relationship where she feels they’re in it for the long run, she’s ready to embrace that part of his life.
‘In the beginning, she refused to join him because she didn’t want to be seen as one of those girls that is in and out of an A-list celebrity’s life,’ dished the insider.
‘She did not want the intrusion into her private life and neither did Brad. But their relationship is unbreakable at this point, and she is not going anywhere.
‘She now wants to join him on carpets because she loves him and part of this is supporting him in everything that he does.’
De Ramon is no stranger to the world of Hollywood as she was previously married to Vampire Diaries actor Paul Wesley from 2019 until 2022.
According to her LinkedIn, she has been the head of wholesale at Anita Ko Jewelry, which has celebrity customers including Kourtney Kardashian and Hailey Bieber, since 2020.
The insider added that Pitt is immensely proud of how far de Ramon has come.
‘Brad is proud of Ines. She has really come a long way and come out of her shell and has become quite the red-carpet sensation,’ they explained.
Representatives for Pitt and de Ramon have not returned the Daily Mail’s request for comment.
Pitt and de Ramon were first spotted together in November 2022, and by February 2024, it was reported that they had moved in together.
They made their first official public appearance together in July 2024 at the British Grand Prix and their red carpet debut came two months later at the premiere of his movie Wolfs.
The F1 star gushed about his girlfriend during an interview with GQ Magazine earlier this month.
‘My life is fairly contained,’ said Pitt. ‘It feels pretty warm and secure with my friends, with my loves, with my fam, with my knowledge of who I am.’
He also clapped back at claims that making his first appearance with de Ramon at a Formula 1 race event was a tactic to promote his new film.
‘No, dude, it’s not that calculated,’ he told the outlet. ‘Oh my God, how exhausting would that be – if you’re living with making those kinds of calculations? No, life just evolves. Relationships evolve.’
The couple put on a loved up display at the NYC premiere of his latest film F1 on June 16.
When they weren’t sweetly holding hands, the duo had their arms wrapped around each other.
It comes after Pitt recently settled his painful eight-year divorce battle with ex wife Angelina Jolie.
A source previously told the Daily Mail that despite being as happy as could be together, Pitt and de Ramon have no plans to wed.
‘Brad is totally in love with Ines, but he doesn’t want to go down the road of marriage and kids,’ they said.
‘He’s been burned badly by the divorce from Angelina and his kids wanting little if nothing to do with him. He’s 61 and loving his life just the way it is.’
