And, ahead of the festive season, King Charles has launched an exclusive whiskey crafted from barley grown on his Highgrove estate – with a price tag of £250.

While this may be the estate’s top-tier whiskey, it’s far from the most extravagant item available from the Royal Collection Trust.

The official online shop features a range of luxurious gifts inspired by royal residences, including Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle and the Palace of Holyroodhouse.

Highgrove ‘Royal Gardens’ limited edition single malt whisky, £250 

The brand new Highgrove ‘Royal Gardens’ single malt whisky, made in collaboration with the Cotswold Distillery, is limited to just 400 bottles. 

It is crafted using heritage Plumage Archer barley grown at the Highgrove estate and aged in premium active ex-red wine and first-fill bourbon casks.

Each £250 numbered bottle of whisky features a nose of vanilla and orange peel, a hint of brown sugar, vanilla and candied ginger, and a lightly spiced finish.

Balmoral limited edition framed artist proof lithograph, £5,000

Just 20 signed copies of this lithograph, based on an original watercolour that King Charles painted of Balmoral in 1991, are available for purchase, each retailing at £5,000. 

Set amid the picturesque landscape of the Scottish Highlands, Balmoral has served as a private residence of the Royal Family since it was purchased by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in 1856.

This gold enamel musical box, limited to only 100 pieces, is produced by artisans at Royal Warrant Holder Halcyon Days in England.

Hand-decorated in rich gold, it reflects the grandeur of the Coronation of King Charles III.
