Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor pictured in new release of Epstein files

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor faced fresh embarrassment today as more Jeffrey Epstein photos were released.

The latest batch of images was released on the day the former Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson made a rare public appearance for the christening of their granddaughter Athena.

One photograph shows Andrew and Bill Gates – with King Charles cropped out. The cache of new images also includes disturbing snaps of sex predator Epstein parading around with rich and powerful friends.

Donald Trump and Bill Clinton feature in the 19 new pictures from the Epstein estate files.

Democratic lawmakers on the House Oversight Committee unveiled the intimate photos, having chosen them from more than 95,000 unseen images.

Andrew lost his prince status and Duke of York title during the fallout from the Epstein scandal earlier this year. In the latest image, he and billionaire Mr Gates appear to be at a formal meeting, and are wearing business suits.

Other photos depict graphic sex toys but it is unclear the location or dates of the images.

They were released hours after Andrew and Sarah attended the Chapel Royal at St James’s Palace for the christening of Athena, the second daughter of Princess Beatrice, 37, and her property developer husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, 42.

The image of Andrew and Gates that was released by the House has previously been made public by the Getty Images photo library, and includes King Charles, who has been cropped out of the US lawmakers’ version.

According to the caption, it was taken during a summit during the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting focusing on malaria in London on 18 April 2018.

Today’s outing was the first time the former Duke and Duchess of York have stepped inside a royal palace since they were stripped of their titles after fresh revelations about their relationships with paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Earlier this week a source told the Mail on Sunday: ‘It’s going to be a royal occasion but everyone is dreading the thought of seeing Andrew there.’

Beatrice is said to have remained close to her mother Sarah during the turbulence of the Epstein saga, but relations with her father are understood to be more strained.

Other famous names pictured in the 19 new images include several of President Trump, along with former US President Bill Clinton, former Trump adviser Steve Bannon, actor Woody Allen, US economist Larry Summers, lawyer Alan Dershowitz and British entrepreneur Richard Branson.

There is no suggestion any of these men have done anything wrong. The estate provided the House Oversight Committee with the images as part of the lawmakers’ investigation into Epstein.

In one of the photos, Mr Trump poses with a group of unnamed women, whose faces have been obscured by censors to protect their identities.

Microsoft founder Gates said in a 2021 CNN interview that that Epstein joined him for ‘several dinners’, with the computer entrepreneur hoping Epstein’s contacts could help him raise money for global health causes. ‘It was a huge mistake to spend time with him, to give him the credibility of being there,’ Mr Gates said.

Spokespeople for Mr Gates have previously maintained that there was no business partnership or personal friendship between the pair.

These latest images are not the highly-anticipated trove of Epstein files many have been expecting after Donald Trump signed a bill ordering their release – a significant turning point in a months-long fight over the documents. The deadline for the full files is December 19.

The Democrats may be hoping this disclosure will keep the Epstein case in the news and prompt pressure to build on President Trump.

There is also a photo of Democrat former President Clinton which appears to have been signed by him. A spokesperson for Clinton has previously acknowledged that he took four trips with his staff on Epstein’s private plane in 2002 and 2003.

The new photos of Trump adviser Mr Bannon also underlines Epstein’s ties to the rich and powerful. Mr Bannon is not accused of any wrongdoing.

Andrew was stripped of all his royal titles in October after a leaked email published by the Mail on Sunday proved he lied in his interview with BBC’s Newsnight when he claimed he ‘never had any contact’ with Epstein after they were pictured together in New York in December 2010.

Buckingham Palace announced in October that Andrew would no longer be known as a prince and would leave Royal Lodge in Windsor – instead taking up residence ahead on the family’s Sandringham estate in Norfolk.

King Charles stripped his brother of titles after weeks of pressure to act over Andrew’s relationship with Epstein, who died in prison in August 2019 aged 66.

Andrew had earlier in October said he would no longer use the title Duke of York following revelations about his friendship with Epstein and renewed sexual abuse allegations by Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre in her posthumous memoir.

The Mail on Sunday revealed how Andrew tried to involve the Metropolitan Police and one of Queen Elizabeth’s most senior aides in a campaign to smear Ms Giuffre, who had accused him of assaulting her as a teenager.

An email exposed how Andrew asked his taxpayer-funded police bodyguard to investigate the ‘lying’ young woman.

The prince is said to have passed on details of her date of birth and social security number, thought to have been given to him by Epstein.

He also claimed Virginia, who took her own life earlier this year, had criminal convictions, a claim which has not been backed up by any evidence or confirmed by police and has been strongly denied by her family.

An earlier email exposé proved that Andrew lied to Buckingham Palace and the British public when he claimed he had cut off all contact with his close friend in December 2010, following Epstein’s release from prison on child-sex charges.

Twelve weeks later, he emailed the sex offender financier to say they were ‘in this together’ and sickeningly expressed his wish to ‘play some more soon’.

Ms Giuffre, who died by suicide in April, alleged she was forced to have sex three times with Andrew, which he vehemently denies, including when she was 17 and also during an orgy, after she was trafficked by Epstein.

Andrew paid millions to settle a civil sexual assault case with her in 2022, though insisted he had never met her.
