Karen demands staff be fired over standard airline practice

An airline passenger exploded at a staffer at Denver International Airport leaving her in tears after she was denied boarding due to a common airport mishap.

The woman went into meltdown after she was informed that her Southwest flight bound for Boise had been overbooked.

The explosive showdown was caught on a video posted by social media influencer Taylor Graboyes.

‘Do you guys feel safe,’ the unhinged passenger hollered at the terminal, while clutching her phone and appearing to record.

‘How dare you treat me this way?’ she demanded of the gate agent.

The unruly woman proceeded to ask the beleaguered airline employee a series of questions at increasing volumes.

‘Who are you?’ she screamed. ‘Why is our plane late? ‘Why are not we boarding?’

The woman even ridiculed the employee for ‘shaking’ as she yelled.

A passenger at the Denver airport berated gate agents and other flyers when she was not allowed on her original flight

The unruly customer demanded that someone ‘come and get [her] fired’ and claimed that she was going to be sued.

The passenger loudly announced in the video that she was denied boarding because the flight was full and her seat was given to another passenger.

‘You tell me I cannot board now? Because I questioned why it is late,’ she hollered with a camera in the gate agent’s face.

Airlines occasionally bump passengers when they’ve sold more tickets than there are seats on the aircraft.

In many cases, airlines will oversell flights to compensate for predicted ‘no shows’.

On rare occasions an airline will wrongly estimate the number of people that actually show up for their flight and have to bump a passenger.

Graboyes said that airport security did not arrive for thirty minutes to take the woman away, leaving her ranting the entire time.

But when security finally marched down the terminal, they were met with cheers.

Passengers in the terminal bound for Boise on a Southwest flight could not escape the rant

One commenter claimed that the same woman had been on her flight earlier this week.

They alleged that she was kicked off for arguing with people in her row during beverage service.

‘She was screaming in another passengers face and spitting on her calling, her names and telling other passengers that she will be waiting for them once they get off the flight as like a threat,’ the comment said.

While there is no confirmation that it was definitely the same woman, Graboyes confirmed that they were wearing the identical shoes.

Graboyes said in the comment section that the airline employee was visibly upset after the nightmare passenger screamed at her.

‘She had tears in her eyes when I went over to check on her afterwards I felt so bad,’ she wrote.

Several people noted that this display of attitude was an excellent way to end up on a no fly list.

‘The airport is the last place I’m letting my demons loose,’ one viewer noted. ‘You gotta keep yourself off the no fly list mama.’

Passengers can be put on the US government’s No Fly List for many reasons.

Most notably if they make a terrorism threat to an airplane, airline, passenger, or airport security, according to Travel & Leisure.

The federal No Fly List is a private list created by the government as a part of the larger terrorist watch list.

Specific airlines may also have lists of passengers they no longer welcome on their flights.

The Daily Mail contacted to Southwest Airlines and Graboyes for more information.
