The White Lotus stars let loose after show was snubbed at Emmys

The stars of The White Lotus were quick to let their hair down on Sunday night after the show was brutally snubbed at the Emmy awards.

Mike White’s anthology series was nominated 23 times across various categories at the event, but only managed to pick up one award – Original Main Title Theme Music.

Meghann Fahy, who starred in season two of the show, looked ready to party as she ditched her heels and donned a pair of clogs while making her way into Vas J Morgan’s bash.

The American actress – who was nominated for her work in the show last year but lost out to co-star Jennifer Coolidge – was still clad in her plunging black gown.

Aimee Lou Wood, who played Chelsea in the latest season of the show, arrived at the party with her glamorous gown in disarray.

The British actress had stunned earlier in the night in her voluminous pink and red dress, but by the time she made it to the afterparty her train had been trampled on and was covered in mud.

Aimee had been nominated in the Supporting Actress category alongside co-stars Carrie Coon, Parker Posey and Natasha Rothwell but they all lost out to The Pitt’s Katherine LaNasa.

Despite the loss, Aimee looked in good spirits as she mingled with co-stars Lisa, Sam Nivola and Michelle Monaghan.

The White Lotus’ third chapter was met with lacklustre reviews after two series of five star satisfaction from fans and critics.

Set in Thailand the latest season featured a bumper cast including Patrick Schwarzenegger, Walton Goggins and Carrie Coon.

With eight episodes it was a bump up from six episodes in season one and seven for season two, and also resulted in the most number of deaths for a finale.

Yet it failed to grab viewers, who branded the series ‘slow’ and were left unimpressed once the gunfire had died away in the final episode.

Many blamed the show’s creator Mike White, musing that the celebrated writer has checked out of his smash hit TV show, or at the very least has sent it on a meandering journey, destination unknown.

Aimee Lou Wood , who played Chelsea in the latest season of the show, arrived at the party with her glamorous gown in disarray

The British actress had stunned earlier in the night in her voluminous pink and red dress, but by the time she made it to the afterparty her train had been trampled on and was covered in mud

She also swapped her heels for flats at the party, with her boyfriend Adam Long dutifully holding her pink satin shoes for her

Aimee bizarrely seemed to have brought two pairs of heels along with her for the outing

Adam was more than happy to help out by carrying her shoes on the walk to their car

Blackpink star Lisa, who played Mook in The White Lotus, was dressed to impress in a white mini dress with corset detailing that clung to her figure

She looked incredible

Sam Nivola, who played Lochlan Ratliff, looked dapper in a patterned waistcoat

Michelle Monaghan, who played Jaclyn Lemon, looked incredible in a sequinned silver gown as she attended the party with her husband Peter White
