Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford is the subject of loan interest from Barcelona this summer.
Rashford made his desire to play in Spain clear in recent days when claiming he would love to feature alongside Lamine Yamal.
Barca are weighing up approaching United over a deal for the next season, with the Reds hoping to secure a loan fee.
The La Liga champions want a straight switch and for United to subsidise a portion of Rashford’s wages of more than £300,000 a week.
The 27-year-old spent the second half of last season at Aston Villa, scoring two Premier League goals in 10 appearances.
Barca have identified Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams as their primary attacking target but their pursuit of the Spain international is unlikely to deter a move for Rashford given his versatility.
Meanwhile, Fenerbahce are monitoring developments with Jadon Sancho.
The winger hasn’t played a competitive game for United in 18 months after loan spells at Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea.
