Royal Family share a sweet photo of the late Queen Elizabeth

The Royal Family has paid tribute to the third year anniversary of the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

In a sweet photo of the late monarch, smiling sporting a deep regal blue ensemble, the Firm shared that they’re remembering the mother of King Charles.

After Her Late Majesty’s death on September 8, 2022, the country entered ten days of national mourning which concluded with her state funeral on September 19.

During that time the Queen’s coffin lay at rest in Edinburgh Cathedral before being moved to Westminster Hall in London, where an estimated 250,000 people queued for hours to file past and pay their respects during the lying-in-state.

Today, her loved ones are paying their respects – and have shared the heartwarming snap with wellwishers.

Thousands of comments showed of their ardent admiration for ‘inspiring’ Elizabeth, many admitting they ‘cannot believe’ it’s already been three years since her tragic passing.

‘She’s so missed and loved,’ one penned.

‘I miss Her Majesty The Queen so very much,’ another added. ‘She made me proud to be a part of the Commonwealth.’

A third shared: ‘We miss Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II so much! She was a very great Queen that everyone loved!’
