Manchester United ‘receive offer for Jadon Sancho from European club’

Manchester United have received an offer from a European club for Jadon Sancho.

Sancho has been frozen out at United and isn’t part of Ruben Amorim’s plans at Old Trafford.

As reported by The Times, Roma have made an attempt to sign the winger on a season-long loan as they look to secure a deal before the closure of the transfer window.

Given Sancho’s wages of £250,000-a-week, United would prefer a sale for a fee of between £20million and £25million.

Juventus and his former club Borussia Dortmund have also been linked with Sancho this summer.

The 25-year-old spent last season on loan at Chelsea, with whom he won the Conference League. Sancho previously had a loan spell back at Dortmund.

Roma are also interested in a move for Aston Villa's Leon Bailey in this transfer window

Sancho signed for United from Dortmund in 2021 for £73million. He has one year remaining on his contract although United have the option to extend it by a further year.

During his time at United Sancho has made 83 appearances, while he has scored 12 goals and provided six assists.

United are also looking for Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia to leave the club this summer.

Meanwhile, Roma are also interested in Aston Villa’s Leon Bailey.

The winger has been at Villa since 2021 and has scored 22 goals in 144 games.

Bailey has two years left on his contract at Villa but could be allowed to depart.
