Kris Jenner reveals gift from Meghan Markle’s As Ever brand

Meghan Markle showed her link to influencer royalty as she featured momager Kris Jenner on her Instagram Story on Tuesday.

The Kardashian matriarch, 69, shared a photo on Instagram Stories of a gift the Duchess, 44, had sent – bottles of her 2024 Napa Valley Rosé wine from her As Ever range.

In addition to sharing a photo of the wine on her social media, mother-of-six Kris tagged both Meghan’s Instagram account as well as As Ever’s, saying, ‘thank you’.

The post comes after mother-of-two Meghan posted a glitzy new video promoting the new tipple from her lifestyle brand, in which she carried a tray of popsicles made from the wine.

According to the company’s site, it is ‘delicately balanced, with soft notes of stone fruit, a gentle minerality, and a lasting finish’ as well as being ‘reminiscent of the finest Provençal styles, this thoughtfully crafted blend is perfect for summer’s end’.

It’s not the first time the wife of Prince Harry, 40, has mingled with the Hollywood family following her business launch, as the famous family’s matriarch Kris Jenner was also sent some of the brand’s jam.

And Meghan sent Khloe Kardashian, 41, a deluxe hamper from As Ever, which included bottles of wine, preserves and an array of vegetables.

However, when Khloe shared snaps from sister Kylie Jenner’s 28th birthday party over the weekend, including a picture of the hamper, she seemingly forgot to tag Meghan in the post.

Kris Jenner (pictured with Meghan's mother Doria Ragland and Kim Kardashian in Los Angeles in August 2023) took to her Instagram Stories to thank Meghan for sending her wine from the As Ever range

That didn’t stop the former senior royal from delightedly reposting the snap, writing ‘Hey hey, all my girls with a K’ on the post, but fans called out the famed family’s failure to acknowledge Meghan.

One wrote: ‘When you send something over cuz you have to miss the party, except Meghan was never invited to the party.

Another quipped: ‘The pr team did everything on both sides. These ladies don’t do s**t.’

Others wrote: ‘What were the Kardashians going to do with this catastrophe?

‘My girls with a K? Is she 9? The Kardashians would probably hate it.

‘And yet, Khloe doesn’t even follow meghan’s personal or as ever Instagram accounts…. But Khloe does follow Martha Stewart.

‘Kardashian followers won’t give that basket a second thought – it looks like a gift from a grandma – MM doesn’t even know who her own customer is, or what they are interested in – I doubt she knows what Khloe’s followers are interested in either.

‘In my opinion, it’s a paid advertising. Nothing is an accident with Kardasians. Khloe was within Markle’s budget. It’s quite telling Khloe doesn’t follow Markle or As ever.

The former senior royal (pictured in a scene from With Love, Meghan) shared the Kardashian matriarch's post on the As Ever Instagram account

‘I just watched a video where Kris said they post no products unless they are getting paid for it. The pay is over six figures per post. So for this is happen on a birthday Meg must have paid a fortune.’

Meghan launched her lifestyle brand As Ever earlier this year, releasing the first products in April.

These included a range of teas, a raspberry spread, and a limited-edition wildflower honey with honeycomb, amongst other things.

Many items sold out quickly, with Meghan’s fans snapping up the different foods and drink available.

She followed the initial launch with two new items – an apricot spread and another honey.

Then in July,  she expanded into the world of alcohol when she dropped her own wine – the 2023 Napa Valley rosé.

Each release has been met with fierce excitement from her fans, and every product has sold out pretty quickly.

On August 4, her birthday, Meghan launched her latest product – another rosé wine.

Ahead of the launch, the company announce that following the buzz surrounding its 2023 Napa Valley rosé, it would be launching another wine.

The new tipple had a slight tweak – it is called the 2024 Napa Valley rosé.

However, according to the brand, the new wine tastes very similar s As Ever’s earlier vintage.

‘It marries the same harmony of notes from our first blend and creates an elegant medley of delicate yet memorable flavor,’ reads a press release.

‘You’ll want to clink glasses with friends as the sun sets, toasting to a summer of joy.

‘Barefoot or in sandals, dressed up or dressed down, this rosé may become your favorite accessory for alfresco lunches and dinners at dusk.’

In the release, As Ever listed some of the positive feedback customers had given the company over its first rosé, which included comments like, ’10 out of 10,’ ‘perfect,’ and ‘elevated flavor’.

The company revealed earlier this month that following the buzz surrounding the 2023 Napa Valley rosé, it would be launching another wine, called the 2024 Napa Valley rosé

‘This affirmed all of the love, time and effort our team, and our founder, poured into curating this blend to evoke the sun drenched spirit of Napa Valley, and the breathtaking tenor of the California Coast,’ As Ever added.

‘Thank you for filling our cup. Now it’s time for us to fill your glass! We are pleased to share that our 2024 Napa Valley rosé will be available for purchase next week.’

The brand also posted to Instagram with a series of images showing the new wine resting in beach sand.

It was uploaded alongside a caption that read: ‘Oh, how we love seeing the world through rose colored glasses. Rosé colored glasses? Perhaps even better.

‘Our new vintage of As Ever’s beloved rosé is available next week.

‘Stay tuned for more details and timing.’

As Ever’s first wine went on sale on July 1 and sold out within the hour.

Customers were able to purchase three bottles for $90, six bottles for $159, and 12 bottles for $300.
