Abbey Clancy brings back noughties WAG style in Juicy Couture shoot

Queen of WAGs Abbey Clancy has brought back noughties fashion nostalgia as she stars in a new campaign with Juicy Couture.

The model, 40, is helping the resurgence of the fashion brand, which is best known for its iconic velour tracksuits that defined early-2000s celebrity fashion.

Ahead of this summer’s World Cup, Abbey, whose husband is Peter Crouch, 45, starred in a racy photoshoot on a football pitch to showcase ‘The WAG collection’.

For one look, Abbey posed topless as she modelled a pair of Juicy Couture hotpants and a black thong.

In another photo, the WAG rocked low-rise denim shorts as she teased a white thong.

Abbey also modelled shorts with the cheeky ‘Juicy’ logo on the bottom. She teamed the look with white socks, heels and a baseball cap.

Taken by photographer, Karis Kennedy, Abbey shared the campaign on her Instagram and wrote: ‘J’adore @juicycoutureuk’.

The mother-of-four has been a lifelong fan of the brand and previously spoke about how it had regained popularity on her podcast.

Abbey commented how Hollywood actress Zendaya wearing a pink zip-up hoodie in the 2024 film Challengers sparked a trend.

The model said previously: ‘The girl in the tennis movie [Zendaya] wore a Juicy tracksuit.

‘I just bought some the other day. I had a black and grey velour tie-dye one, I loved it.’

Elsewhere, the mother-of-four recently discussed her decision to curb her drinking habits and change her lifestyle, admitting she ‘overdid the wine’ while holed up at home during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abbey revealed after waking up at 6:30am, she begins her morning with a coffee while the children eat croissants for breakfast, admitting starting the day can be ‘hectic’ as she has to ensure making it to school on time.

She told the Sunday Times magazine: ‘Once all four kids are at school my day can begin. I might overindulge on holiday and consume a lot of wine but then I’ll be on a health kick, so I go to the gym every day.’

The model said she’ll also spend an hour practicing dressage with her horse Enzo, and once a week she and Peter record their podcast, The Therapy Crouch, together.

She continued: ‘If we’re doing the podcast, lunch will be some chicken sandwiches from the deli. And once a week I’ll meet up with a group of friends for a girly lunch of pasta and a bellini or two…

‘Dinner is always cooked by me; I made these incredible dauphinoise potatoes with steak, mushrooms and green beans last night.

‘If I’m too tired or I’m out, Pete will either get a takeaway or make the only dish he ever cooks, which is Daddy’s omelette – basically stuffed with whatever’s in the fridge.’
