Australia’s Delta Goodrem is among the early frontrunners to be crowned the winner of Eurovision as jury voting gets under way with the UK’s Look Mum No Computer avoiding the dreaded nul points.
Italy, Bulgaria and Malta have also performed well in the early rounds as the contest nears its conclusion.
Earlier Look Mum No Computer, whose real name is Sam Battle, performed his song Eins, Zwei, Drei while dancing energetically with people dressed as computers.
Tonight’s contest has been overshadowed by a boycott of five countries, Spain, the Netherlands , Ireland, Iceland and Slovenia, over Israel’s participation.
Israeli singer Noam Bettan’s performance appeared to pass without incident with host Graham Norton remarking the reaction was largely positive.
