Celebs Go Dating star James Haskell was left red-faced after being surprised by his ‘crush’ Coleen Nolan live on This Morning on Tuesday.
The former England rugby player, 41, appears in the E4 show’s current series alongside the Loose Women star, 61.
James – who was married to Chloe Madeley from 2018 to 2023 – joined Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley on the sofa to discuss the dating series.
After playing a clip of James on Celebs Go Dating, which saw the experts determine he has ‘no chat’ and ‘no game’, Ben remarked: ‘Firstly, the group of people together are brilliant.’
James said: ‘Of all the kind of TV experiences I’ve had it’s the most heartwarming, fun. You get a bit of Stockholm Syndrome sometimes when you do TV – I’m A Celebrity – because you’re put together.
‘On this, very different, but you’re dealing with a lot of emotions – love, sadness, loss, you’re divorced, whatever it might be.
‘Actually, we bonded really well, they are so nice. Especially Coleen Nolan, I’ve got a real crush on her as well.
‘You weren’t allowed to date the other celebs, but I probably would have given her a spin.’

James said: ‘Actually, we bonded really well, they are so nice. Especially Coleen Nolan, I’ve got a real crush on her as well’
Ben and Cat surprised James later on when Coleen made an unexpected appearance in the studio.
Upon her entrance, Coleen said: ‘Did someone say they want to date me?’, as James joked by asking if she wanted to sit on his knee.
Elsewhere in the episode, James talked about his ex Chloe’s ‘positive’ reaction to him joining Celebs Go Dating.
He shared: ‘When you do something like that, when you’ve got a daughter and put yourself in the public eye, it’s really important to sit down and speak to her.
‘We chatted about stuff and she said, “Look if you want to do it, I’m 100% supportive of you”. I obviously talked to her about bits that happened on the show.’
James was left sweating after he was slammed by his date Kitty for seemingly ruling her out because she couldn’t drive on a recent episode of Celebs Go Dating.
He looked visibly uncomfortable when Kitty brought the issue up in front of the experts, stating that she has a lot to offer as a partner and that her ability to drive should not have come into the equation.
The brunette beauty said: ‘I feel quite deflated, during my date I really opened up and told you a lot about myself and I feel like I didn’t really get it back.
‘Something that I wouldn’t normally speak publicly about is the fact that I don’t drive and I wouldn’t usually talk about that on a first date either.
‘I feel like you ruled me out because I didn’t have a licence.’
However, James was quick to assert that her inability to drive didn’t even cross his mind when ruling her out as a would-be partner.

He insisted: ‘I had completely forgotten that was one of the things. I certainly would never have chosen someone whether they can drive or not.’
Kitty hit back: ‘As a woman I have so much to give and unless I was relying on you for lifts everywhere.
‘I don’t think it should be a reflection of what I can give in a relationship, as a woman or as a lover.’
Kitty’s ability to drive came up when James asked her if she was a good driver during the date.
She said: ‘I don’t drive, I had driving lessons for two years and I just couldn’t do it. They said the only person worse than me couldn’t speak English.’
