I’m delighted that Princess Eugenie is expecting her third child. Some rare good news for Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and his ghastly wife Sarah Ferguson.

But even as an ardent royalist, something about this announcement makes me feel really queasy and uncomfortable. Because this child will become 15th in line to the throne, above hard-working royals Princess Anne and Prince Edward. 

It’s time to sort it out. Kick Andrew out of the line of succession, and while we’re at it, kick out Eugenie and Beatrice.
