Daniel Dubois’ Head of Boxing Performance Analysis reveals what they looked at when assessing Fabio Wardley…

Mohammed Ali – Owner of Aboxr and Head of Boxing Performance Analysis for Dubois said: “Daniel’s on top form right now – this is the best version we’ve prepared. You’re going to see a different version of him in this fight. We’ve studied everything about Wardley – his explosiveness, how he builds through rounds, the way he holds his shape. Nothing has been left unexamined. Stylistically, it’s a great fight – you’ve got two heavy punchers with knockout power on both sides. That’s what makes it dangerous. If it turns into a firefight, that doesn’t go well for Fabio. Daniel is one of the most dangerous punchers in the world. Expect an explosive fight – this has all the makings of a proper heavyweight battle.”

Fabio Wardley warms up on the pads!

Agit Kabayel and Frank Warren link-up ringside for Wardley vs Dubois!

Malik Scott claims Daniel Dubois is an underdog going into the Fabio Wardley fight…

You’ve got to favour Wardley.  But Dubois is back with Don Charles, and I just think Dubois is good with Don Charles. Even though they lost against Usyk, you can’t really count that. It’s not like he went out there and got blown out by Usyk.

It says a lot about Fabio that he’s willing to even fight Dubois, because he’s not babysitting the title that he has. He’s willing to take risks with it early on, too. It’s not like he’s had a couple of tune-ups; now he’s wanting to fight Dubois. I know Wardley’s taking on the biggest challenges that are presented to him on the biggest stages, and you’ve got to commend him for that. But I think Dubois, he’s going in as an underdog.

The winner of Fabio Wardley vs Daniel Dubois is set for a collision course with Anthony Joshua or Tyson Fury – and here’s why Frank Warren’s ‘don’t blink’ advice is incredibly apt, writes JEFF POWELL
