Apple Martin with Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin at graduation

Apple Martin brought her divorced parents back together on Friday when she graduated from prestigious Vanderbilt University in Nashville on Friday.

Both Gwyneth Paltrow and her ex-husband Chris Martin attended the ceremony held at FirstBank Stadium, though they were not seen interacting.

Paltrow stayed close to her second husband, TV producer Brad Falchuk, as she exited the milestone event in Tennessee next to her only daughter.

Coldplay rock star Martin, who wore all black, walked with his Moses, who had on a beige outfit.

The 21-year-old graduate wore a black gown over a white dress with Ray-Ban sunglasses and her blonde hair down as she held a bouquet of white roses to celebrate the end of her college years.

Paltrow was wed to Martin from 2003 until 2016. She went on to marry Falchuk in 2018.

Paltrow looked chic at the ceremony as she wore a pale blue dress with a button-down red jacket and matching scarlet high heels. She smiled often as she looked every inch the proud mom.

Her husband was clad in a navy sweater over a pale blue shirt and berry-colored tie with dark beige slacks and brown suede boots.

The GOOP founder and the American Horror Story producer were arm in arm as they looked in sync.

Apple took to her Insta Stories to share a photo where she was in her cap and gown with black sunglasses on. She held up her diploma as she smiled but did not add a caption.

There was no sign on Paltrow’s mother, Emmy winning actress Blythe Danner.

The budding model began studying at Vanderbilt in 2022 and majored in Law, History and Society.

Though she has pursued theater as a member of the Vanderbilt Original Cast and has directed student productions, she is not a drama major.

Martin has also secured a top Hollywood agent at powerhouse agency CAA.

Last week Martin posed in her cap and gown for an Instagram image as she rehearsed her graduation with friends.

The up-and-coming star said graduating from college is ‘a bittersweet moment.’ Her Oscar-winning mother said she was ‘SO proud!!’ as she hit the like button.

The beauty has already secured modeling gigs for The Gap and self-portrait.

Last year, Apple told Interview Magazine how she loves theater ‘more than anything’.

‘I would love to do theater because I adore it so much. I’ve obviously never done film before, but I’ve been trying to get involved in student films. I was born a theater kid.’

Speaking of her prior plans of going into law school, she explained to Vogue: ‘I was in that rebellious “I don’t wanna be like my parents” type of phase.’

She also clarified that she does not want to be a musician like her famous dad.

‘I don’t wanna be a singer. I like musical theater, but getting onstage by yourself to sing is so terrifying, I love dancing and I love acting. My dream is to act.’

Apple made headlines after it was claimed that she had been expelled from school for bullying – allegations she later denied.

Addressing the claims on Instagram, she said: ‘Hi! I didn’t wanna respond but this narrative is completely false and has gotten so out of hand. I have never been expelled from any school, especially not for bullying anyone.

‘I completely understand ppl not liking me and that is okay! The internet is a place where ppl can share their opinions.’

‘But this rumor is completely untrue, I am not that type of person and anyone who is close to me knows that.’

The school costs $67,000 a year.

Martin’s mother was the person who publicly announced in 2022 that her mini-me was beginning college.  ‘My daughter went to college in the fall,’ began the blonde.

Paltrow also said that it was hard on her emotionally to say farewell to little Apple.  ‘It was horrible. It was truly horrifying,’ she said. ‘I was sick to my stomach, bursting into tears.”

She is ‘getting more and more used to’ it and is relieved she is ‘happy.’

The lifestyle expert also said that she went on a parents weekend visit and Apple came home for October break in 2022. ‘That was amazing,’ she added.

‘I see her, but not as much as I’d like. I’d like to see her every day, but I’m so happy for her. She’s doing great,’ noted the ex-girlfriend of Ben Affleck.

She also has son Moses with the rock star and said, ‘My son is growing up every minute. He’s taller than me. But I’m very grateful for the transitions. Especially as a mother, I’ve really cherished every chapter of their lives.’

Her new husband Falchuk has children Brody and Isabella.

‘It’s funny, I always thought, when they were born I was like, “It’s never going to be better than this.” But then they were 2, and then 5, and every stage I’ve been like, “This is better than the last.” And I feel that way now,’ she added.
