Camilla Kerslake shows off her glowing skin after laser mishap

Chris Robshaw’s wife Camilla Kerslake showed off her glowing skin on Thursday, days after she suffered a burnt and bleeding face from a free laser treatment.

Camilla looked unrecognisable with a severely burnt face after undergoing the free £1K CO2 laser treatment last week.

Following the painful treatment mishap, Camilla’s face appears to be back to normal as she attended Tigermilk Spitalfields’ launch party to celebrate the arrival of the group’s biggest restaurant to date.

The opera singer, 38, looked incredible in a satin halterneck top which she teamed with denim blue jeans.

Camilla, who shares Wilder, five, and two-year-old Hunter with the ex rugby player, 39, took to Instagram to show off the swelling, 24 hours after her ‘intensely’ painful procedure.

Camilla said she ‘didn’t recognise herself’ and despite claims the pain would go, was still struggling through what felt like ‘the worst sunburn of my life’.

She told followers she had undergone the procedure, which was gifted to her, after struggling with skin laxity and rosacea following the birth of Hunter in 2024.

CO2 (carbon dioxide) lasers use targeted beams of light to remove the superficial layer of your skin, simulating newer skin to grow in its place.

She told followers: ‘Last night was a really rough night, you have to sleep elevated and on your back, which I sort of struggle to do anyway, but also just the pain,’

‘The pain was intense, like I had two babies with absolutely no drugs, I would think my pain threshold was really high, but it really hurts’.

She captioned the post: ‘I share my #c02laser recovery journey as a working mother of two. I was struggling with some skin laxity and rosacea after the birth of my second son so I went to see @dr.vaheclinic and he recommended a combination approach which I’ll share with everyone. Gifted’.

24 hours later Camilla returned to the platform with a new clip which showed that the swelling had subsided but her face remained red and bloody.

She told fans: ‘If I don’t laugh I’ll cry, look at my face. I did expect swelling and redness, but I did not expect this amount of swelling and redness.

As well as performing as an opera singer Camilla has also performed in West End musicals including Les Misérables.

Camilla previously revealed she’d planned a home birth to welcome Hunter, but due to the early labour midwives got stuck in traffic and were worried they wouldn’t reach her.

Chris, who appeared in last year’s Strictly line-up, told Ok! Magazine at the time: ‘At one point things were getting intense, but in the end it was exactly what we wanted.

‘I was in the pool, it was four hours from start to finish. It was amazing – dramatic in the middle – but a good story for when he’s older. And I’m even more grateful for the NHS than I was before.’

They added that their first son Wilder has been suffering from a bit of jealousy since the birth and has been throwing a few tantrums.

It comes after Camilla branded Timothée Chalamet’s comments ‘irresponsible’ after he claimed ‘no one cares about’ art forms such as ballet and opera.

The actor, 30, sparked backlash after making the controversial remarks during an hour-long Variety/CNN Town Hall with his Interstellar ‘father’ Matthew McConaughey on February 24.

Speaking about his hopes that movie theatres are able to survive, he said: ‘I don’t want to be working in ballet or opera. Things where it’s like, “Hey, keep this thing alive, even though no one cares about this anymore”.’

Camilla hit back saying: ‘People in the ballet and opera world, including myself, have been hurt by his comments.’

‘If anything, cinema is the dying art form,’ she went on. ‘People still dress up and go out to the opera and ballet, but increasingly the public would rather stay in watching Netflix than go to the cinema’ You can read the full story here.
