Housewife admits to killing man during sexual encounter gone wrong

A California housewife living a double life has admitted to killing a 55-year-old man during a kinky sexual encounter that went terribly wrong.

Michaela Rylaarsdamn, 32, pleaded guilty to causing the 2023 death of Michael Dale, with whom she recorded a steamy video for her OnlyFans account, on Wednesday.

The clips showed Dale with his wrists tied up, duct tape over his mouth, and a plastic bag covering his head for several minutes, according to prosecutors.

The married escort, who used the name Asshley SinCal, then dialed 911 for help, but Dale died at the hospital the next day from asphyxiation as a result of the items placed over his head, prosecutors alleged.

At the time of her arrest in February 2025, Rylaarsdamn charged up to $1,500 ‘plus a generous tip’ for her services, according to her internet page, where she boasted of her sexual exploits.

Dale paid her a little more than $11,000 for the encounter and made several requests over text that included her tying him up, wrapping him ‘like a mummy’ in Saran Wrap, and gluing boots to his feet, according to testimony from her preliminary hearing.

Behind the scenes of what she portrayed on her kinky website, Rylaarsdamn lived a much seedier life with her husband, Brandon, who was allegedly fully aware of her secret life and helped her run their ‘business.’

She and Brandon have three young children together, whom she also touted on her escort page.

On her escort page, Secret Hostess, which was previously reviewed by the Daily Mail, Rylaarsdam said she goes by the name Asshley, adding ‘the h is silent.’

‘I am an upscale and classy creation that has been flawlessly designed and perfected over the 10 years of experience I have,’ she wrote.

‘I am able to carry myself through an intellectual and stimulating conversation. Maybe you don’t want to talk but you want to experience the most intoxicating and provocative performance dedicated to you alone.

‘Consider me the chameleon of this industry, able to redesign myself to your specific desires,’ she added.

She described herself as in her 20s, 5ft. 3in. with a ‘curvy’ body, brunette hair and a DD cup size. She said she catered to anybody ‘men, women and non-binary.’

‘I am always the exception. I am a multi-business owner (CEO) and a mother of three wild boys so please value my time as I will respect and value yours,’ she wrote, adding that she has ‘so many naughty games’ to offer clients.

Rylaarsdam added: ‘I come from a lifelong background of dance and I have learned how to incorporate acrobatics into my lap dances. I promise you NO OTHER listed on this site is as professional as I am.’

Despite the high price Dale is said to have paid for her services, on Secret Hostess, her most expensive package is listed at $1,500 for the ‘ultimate incall.’

A ‘wild incall’ costs $1,100 and a mild one $800. Outcalls are $300 cheaper in each case.

She also listed a FaceTime or Zoom play show at $150 and a ‘toy show’ at $200 and said she liked a $25 non-refundable deposit that ‘can be made via Zelle, Cashapp, Venmo, PayPal or invoice.’

Police investigating Dale’s death at his home in Escondido, California, said Rylaarsdam told them it was the first time she had engaged in fetish behavior.

She put up her Secret Hostess page on April 9, 2024, eight days shy of the first anniversary of Dale’s death.

Disturbing video obtained from Rylaarsdam’s phone showed Dale inside the bag for around eight minutes, as well as other clips of him struggling to breathe after duct tape, a plastic bag, and Saran wrap were placed over his mouth, court documents stated.

Dale’s arms and legs had been bound with plastic, meaning he was unable to remove the bag or wrappings from his head, according to the affidavit.

As he lay unresponsive, Rylaarsdam was performing a sex act nearby for her OnlyFans page, prosecutors alleged.

The clip was just taken moments before she called the police and began CPR on Dale, according to the affidavit.

Dale was declared brain dead the following day.

Rylaarsdam initially denied placing a bag over Dale’s head and pleaded not guilty to a second-degree murder charge.

Her attorney, Dan Cohen, previously said that his client did not intend to kill Dale, adding that while consent is not a defense, it is ‘certainly a mitigating factor.’

‘I think there was no intent to kill and no attempt to cover this up,’ he said. ‘And she acted appropriately when she realized this was a problem.

‘There is definitely a consensual element – not only something he consented to, something he was actively seeking.’

He also questioned the cause of death, claiming Dale had alcohol and prescription drugs in his system at the time.
