A 39-year-old man has been charged with harassment after an incident near the home of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
Alex Jenkinson of Suffolk, has been charged with two counts of harassment following an incident in Wolferton, near the ex-Duke’s home, Norfolk Constabulary said.
Andrew is currently living on King Charles private Sandringham estate.
Police officers were called to reports of a man behaving ‘in an intimidating manner in the village’ shortly after 7.30pm on Wednesday, May 6, 2026.
The 39-year-old was questioned at King’s Lynn Police Investigation Centre after being arrested on suspicion of a public order offence and possession of an offensive weapon
A Norfolk Constabulary spokesperson said: ‘A man has been charged following an incident in Wolferton.
‘Officers were called shortly after 7.30pm yesterday (Wednesday 6 May 2026) following a report a man was behaving in an intimidating manner in the village.
‘Officers attended, and the man was arrested on suspicion of a public order offence and possession of an offensive weapon. He was taken to King’s Lynn Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

‘Alex Jenkinson, aged 39 and of Stowmarket, Suffolk has since been charged with two counts of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to harass someone or cause alarm or distress and failing to provide a specimen of blood in custody.
‘He has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Norwich Magistrates Court tomorrow.’
