Madonna, 67, is caught giving death looks to pretty ‘nymph’

Madonna got annoyed with one of her seven pretty nymphs when at the Met Gala 2026 red carpet on Monday.

The diva turned around to tell a young woman in a pink negligee with beige lace to move as seen during the live Vogue coverage.

The Rebel Heart singer also gave the woman a death stare as she stood on the famed Met Gala steps.

The ladies were helping carry the singer’s long veil.

Her look was inspired by a 1945 painting called The Temptation of St. Anthony. Fragment II, a Surrealist masterpiece by Leonora Carrington.

It explores the desert temptation of Anthony the Great, often cited for its influence on 20th-century art.

Madonna was dressed in a black, gothic-inspired Saint Laurent lace gown and satin opera gloves.

The 67-year-old music icon swapped out her usual blonde hair for a long, raven-hued wig which she topped with a headpiece featuring a pirate ship accoutrement.

Her dramatic look also boasted a long, sheer grey cape that clung to her headdress.

The extravagant ensemble was designed by Anthony Vaccarello, who posed with her during some moments.

She was also joined by her much younger boyfriend Akeem Morris, 29.

This year’s Met Gala theme was Costume Art, with the dress code being ‘Fashion Is Art.’

Madonna complemented her dark look with statement rings, a necklace with a chunky pendant, and black boots.

She also toted a French horn-like instrument, carrying it at her side.

Her appearance at the annual gathering comes ahead of her highly-anticipated album Confessions II, due out this summer.

In April Madonna stunned fans as she teased her return to music, after a seven-year hiatus from the charts.

The new album is a follow-up to her 2005 LP Confessions on a Dance Floor which featured the smash hit Hung Up.

Last week the renowned music artist released a song with Sabrina Carpenter called Bring Your Love.

It came on the heels of the two pop sensations’ surprise Coachella performance.

This year’s gala was marred with controversy as Hollywood fumed over Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos, 62, and wife Lauren Sanchez, 56, sponsoring the event.

It is rumored that the couple gave $10 million to the Costume Institute in exchange for being named honorary co-chairs.

They reportedly paid the eye-watering sum for the privilege to hobnob with former Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, who has spearheaded the fundraiser since 1995.

Sources told Page Six the move put them in favor with Wintour, 76, who uses the event to raise money for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute.

‘The Bezoses are where the American dream is at right now for status, wealth and style,’ William Norwich, a former editor at Vogue, explained to the outlet.

‘They display conspicuous consumption [and] they have the ‘AWOK’ – the Anna Wintour OK.’

Last year’s Met Gala raised $31 million, marking the highest total in the event’s 77-year history. This year topped it with $42 million.
