Real Madrid star to determine future by ‘what God tells my WIFE to do’

Endrick has claimed his future is in the hands of ‘what God tells my wife’ after the Real Madrid forward scored again for his loan club Lyon.

The Brazilian forward, 19, scored the clinching goal in Lyon’s 4-2 win over Rennes on Sunday to move the club into the Champions League places in Ligue 1.

It was Endrick’s eighth goal since joining the French giants on loan in January, while he has also provided seven assists.

The teenage star was asked about his long-term club future following the match, having gone out on loan after struggling for minutes at Real Madrid following his £51million transfer.

Endrick had made just nine starts for Real Madrid in 18 months at the club, with the remainder of his 40 appearances for the Spanish giants coming from the bench.

The Brazilian has revealed that his wife Gabriely Miranda, 23, will have a decisive say in his future, while he acknowledged the positive impact Lyon have had on his World Cup hopes.

‘It’s like I always say. If I’m meant to stay here, if I’m meant to return to Real Madrid, if I’m meant to go somewhere else, I’ll do what God tells me. What God tells my wife,’ Endrick said, as per Globo.

‘I thank God for bringing me here, I’m very happy to be here.

‘But that’s it, I’ll do what God tells me to do, what God puts in my wife’s head to do.

‘Coming to Lyon was one of my best choices, I thank God very much for that because I came to a team that welcomed me.

‘I’m very happy and clearly, God willing, if I go to the World Cup, it will be thanks to the whole of Lyon.’

Last month, Endrick and Miranda announced they are expecting their first child.

The couple have been married since September 2024, with their marriage coming less than a year after they met.

Endrick and Miranda previously revealed they had entered into a ‘relationship contract’, which contained a series of rules and pledges.

The clauses reportedly included being prohibited from developing any kind of addiction, drastic changes in their behavior, and mandating saying ‘I love you’ in all situations.

Bizarre clauses reportedly also included Endrick being banned from having a ‘virtual girlfriend’ on Grand Theft Auto V.

Other terms said to be included in the contract forbid Endrick from commenting on other girls’ Instagram accounts and reportedly require the pair to base their relationship on ‘respect, understanding and affection’.

Miranda has been supportive of the Brazilian forward’s career, as she moved to Spain when he joined Real Madrid in a £51m move from Palmeiras in the summer of 2024.

The couple moved to France in December when he joined Lyon.
