Kim Kardshian channels Bianca Censori with Met Gala look

Kim Kardashian has sparked comparisons to Bianca Censori with her outrageous ensemble at the 2026 Met Gala on Monday. 

The reality star, 45, dropped jaws in a liquid-gold, fembot-inspired body dress by Allen Jones and Whitaker Malem that featured a cone bra, sculpted abs and even a belly button detail. 

The theme of this year’s event – widely considered the Super Bowl of celebrity red carpets – is Costume Art, while the dress code is Fashion Is Art.

And while Kim’s edgy look certainly fit the bill, onlookers couldn’t help but recall that Bianca – who is married to Kim’s ex-husband Kanye West – wore a very similar look not so long ago. 

Back in November, Bianca, 31, made headlines when she stepped out in her Melbourne hometown with her family, dressed in a fembot-inspired outfit with the same silhouette as Kim’s Met Gala look. 

Bianca wore a lilac and blush-toned body stocking layered underneath a cone bra, paired with white underpants.

Her ensemble was plucked from Bianca’s impending eponymous underwear brand, which has also drawn comparisons to Kim’s wildly successful SKIMS range.

‘Pretty sure Kim has taken a leaf out of Bianca’s fashion book this year,’ one online commenter wrote of her Met Gala ensemble. 

‘Bianca made the cone bra a thing,’ another agreed. 

It’s certainly not the first time Kim has been accused of copying Bianca’s distinctive style. 

Back in October, Kim famously gave her lock luscious raven locks a break to don a wispy short-haired wig for a photo shoot. 

In the image, Kim took a fashion risk by going bra-free in a very sheer ivory bandeau top.

It wasn’t long before her eagle-eyed Instagram followers accused the diva of copying her ex-husband’s wife, who had been sporting a pixie cut for some time and is known for wearing sheer clothing. 

One fan said: ‘Bianca Censori, is that you?’ while another was more direct as they wrote: ‘She looks like Bianca Censori’.

Many fans pointed out that Kim – who previously admitted to having ‘panic attacks’ about finding her fashion identity following her divorce, after years of being styled by West himself – appeared to be channelling the Australian architect.

‘Bianca has multiplied,’ one commentator wrote.

‘Kimca Censori,’ another one chimed in.

Similarly, in August 2024, Kim uploaded several glamour shots to her Instagram in a cheeky white leotard and tights.

The outfit looked extremely similar to the daring leotard and tights combos made famous by Bianca.

Kim and Kanye split in February 2021 after six years of marriage and four children – North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm – together.

Weeks after their divorce was finalised in November 2022, Kanye tied the knot with Bianca, who worked as an architect at his Yeezy company.

Since marrying Kanye, Bianca has shocked the globe by gallivanting in public in X-rated outfits – including see-through frocks and pant-less, braless looks.

A source previously dished to the Mail that Kim warned Kanye not to let Bianca wear her revealing outfits in front of their children.

‘Kim instructed Kanye to never let Bianca dress like that around their kids,’ the insider revealed exclusively.

‘She is truly surprised that Kanye would let his wife leave the house like that.’
