Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo have detailed the night they met her ‘hall pass’ – Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder.
The Made In Chelsea stars, aged 37 and 31 respectively, spoke on their NewlyParents podcast about the moment she was ‘thrown on him’.
The couple revealed that Ian was Sophie’s ‘Hall Pass’ – slang defined as; ‘a partner’s permission to have a one-time sexual encounter with a specific person (often a celebrity) outside their relationship without consequence’.
Sophie revealed that they attended the launch of Ian and his Vampire Diaries co-star Paul Wesley’s alcohol brand Brother’s Bond Bourbon, during which the actor believed Sophie was an investor – thus leading to an up-close encounter between the duo.
Jamie branded his wife ‘a creep’ as she pretended to be drinking alcohol – despite breastfeeding their son Ziggy, six months – so as to continue their chat – which Jamie mused could have ended in Sophie spending the night with Ian.

After Jamie revealed: ‘I actually met Sophie’s hall pass’, she relayed: ‘It was Damon from Vampire Diaries [played by Ian] and we went to this drinks thing because everyone seems to know I’m obsessed’…
‘When we came in he was wearing this little cowboy hat that looked like it was from a souvenir shop and he’s gorgeous and I will say he’s shorter than Jamie everybody! For some reason I was getting thrown on him’.
Jamie revealed: ‘I’ve never seen sophie so coy and I was like what do you think is gonna happen here? you guys are gonna go home and shag?’
She went on to explain Ian’s confusion over her constant presence, saying: ‘He couldn’t understand why everyone was like thrusting me on him…
‘So, I think he thought he was here promoting his whiskey. I think he thought I was like a big investor. So he kept selling the whiskey to me…
‘So I was there like, you know, breastfeeding, so I’m not drinking any of this whiskey anyway. He six glasses of different whiskey. He’s like, “Taste this one. This is like smooth. And then can you feel it tingling your lips?”

‘I was like pretending to drink all of these whiskeys so close to my face. We were literally like our noses were touching it. I nearly went I went, “I’ll drink out of your glass’.
Stunned Jamie said: ‘You big old creep… If he had turned to you and said: “Sophie, Sophie, I Hey, I think we should go home together.” What would you have said?’
When she admitted: ‘I’d have asked you’, Jamie cheekily countered: ‘And what do you think I would have said?’
Sophie imagined: ‘Sure, go. Hey, Damon, have a fun night. What do you think I would have done?’
