Cameron Diaz, 53, welcomes her third child with husband Benji Madden

Cameron Diaz, 53, and her husband Benji Madden have announced the birth of their third child.

The Hollywood star’s rocker husband, 47, shared the news on Instagram, writing: ‘Cameron and I are Happy, Excited, and feeling so BLESSED to announce the birth of our third Child, Nautas Madden. Welcome to the world Son!!❤️’

‘We love life with our family- our kids are healthy&happy, and we are grateful!!! having a blast ❤️Sending all our best wishes- the Madden Family’.

The couple, who married in 2015, are already parents to daughter Raddix, born in December 2019 and son Cardinal, born in March 2024. Both were born via a surrogate.

Benji didn’t share any photos of the newborn, but instead posted a picture of a ship and the name’s meaning which read: ‘Sailor, navigator, voyager’.

‘One who embarks on a journey and fears not the unknown.’ Cameron commented underneath the post with a series of stars and love heart emojis.

The couple announced the birth of their second child in 2024 in a similar way, noting that they would not be sharing photos of their children ‘for safety and privacy.’

In December 2019, the pair surprised fans when they announced they had welcomed their first child – daughter, Raddix.

At the time, Cameron had taken to Instagram to pen a New Year’s message. ‘Happy New Year from the Maddens! We are so happy, blessed and grateful to begin this new decade by announcing the birth of our daughter, Raddix Madden,’ she wrote in the surprise post.

The actress continued, ‘She has instantly captured our hearts and completed our family. While we are overjoyed to share this news, we also feel a strong instinct to protect our little one’s privacy.’

‘So we won’t be posting any pictures or sharing any more details, over than the fact that she is really really cute!! Some would even say RAD:)…’

Just last week Cameron reflected on her acting hiatus and having her first child aged 47 as she spoke about being an older mother in a rare interview.

‘I love being a mother. It’s the best, best, best part of my life,’ she told OK! magazine. ‘The only pressure for me now is I have to live to be, like, 107, you know?’

Benji didn’t share any photos of the newborn, but instead posted a picture of a ship and the names meaning which read: ‘Sailor, navigator, voyager

‘The women who have children my age are literally 20 years younger and that’s an interesting place to be because I’m not that age’ she continued. ‘And that’s totally OK – but I want to feel vital like that for my child.’

‘I’m just trying to stay alive just like every other mother.’

The actress – who returned to acting last year after taking a decade-long hiatus -will next star alongside Keanu Reeves in the new Apple TV film Outcome.

She told Ok! Magazine: ‘To be able to still do this at such a high level with people like Keanu Reeves is a thrill for me.

‘I’m glad I took a break and I was able to focus on family and a part of my life that means so much to me but I still love doing this. It’s the best job in the world.’

The actress has only recently returned to her acting career. Alongside her work in Outcome, she is also currently filming movie The Sham alongside Stephen Merchant and will also revive her role as Princess Fiona in a new Shrek movie in 2027.

Cameron took a break from Hollywood in 2014 after the film Annie, but returned last year to star alongside Jamie Foxx in Back in Action.

The actress and Benji have been married since 2015 after meeting through the actress’ friend Nicole Richie and Benji’s brother Joel Madden.

The lovebirds tied the knot in January 2015 during an intimate, yet romantic ceremony that took place at their Beverly Hills home.
