Stacey Solomon returns to Instagram after ‘shutting off’ for a month

Stacey Solomon has returned to Instagram after ‘shutting off from the world’ for a month amid questions over her marriage to Joe Swash.

The TV personality, 36, gave her followers an update on Thursday into family life after it was revealed she and the actor, 44, had suffered some ‘problems.’

Sharing a series of photos, Stacey could be seen as she enjoyed the sunshine with her children. However, she did not include any pictures of Joe.

As well as spending time in the garden, they also baked some chocolate cupcakes while spending some quality time together.

Stacey captioned the photos: ‘A slow April, in our little world….

‘Missed coming on here and chatting to you all, but had a lovely April shutting off from the world & just being. Hope you’re all ok.’

Earlier this month a red-top newspaper revealed that Stacey and Joe have yet to formally register their marriage which prompted raised eyebrows.

Just hours later Stacey was photographed wearing her engagement ring but no wedding band.

But a source told Daily Mail: ‘They have six kids. If you look back at when they actually got married, it was just like a whirlwind, baby after baby. They just haven’t got round to it yet.’

It came after filming for their family reality TV show was paused, after tensions at home put the shooting schedule into a tailspin.

The Daily Mail revealed that the crew were booked back in December to start filming but tensions at Pickle Cottage became increasingly difficult to manage behind the cameras, with an insider revealing ‘there have been problems between Stacey and Joe.’

It resumed this week with Stacey spotted shooting scenes for Stacey & Joe at Scotts Tulip Farm in Brentwood, a stone’s throw from her £1.2million home Pickle Cottage.

The BBC announced last week that it has given season three the green light and will continue to follow the couple’s blended family as they go about their day-to-day lives.

The popular show follows their lives at Pickle Cottage with their children; Rex, six, Rose, four, and Belle, three. Stacey is also mum to Zachary, 18, and Leighton, 13, from previous relationships, while Joe has another son, Harry, who he had with an ex in 2007.

This week, Joe said a recent disastrous holiday with his wife Stacey and their kids made him realise his ADHD has ‘taken a grip’ on him.

The actor took to social media on Tuesday to share a candid clip with fans where he admitted he is ‘not managing’ his condition.

Joe explained to fans how he has not taken medication for a year now, but his drama-filled family holiday has made him reassess his situation and he has booked in with his GP.

Speaking in a clip, he said: ‘Everybody has been asking me about my ADHD, where I’m at in my journey. I feel like we’ve touched upon it in series one of mine and Stacey’s show. And I was on the journey of starting to find the right medication.

‘I have stopped taking the medication for the last year. Now, in hindsight, I know it’s a bad idea. So I’m sort of going to start the journey again from scratch. I’ve got a meeting with my doctor. And the ADHD doctor as well.’

Joe said the busier he gets, the more overwhelmed he feels, before explaining what triggered his decision to review how he has been dealing with his diagnosis.

He continued: ‘Let me tell you what has triggered all of this was recently me and the family went on holiday.

‘Within the first three days… the first one was a terrible error. I left Stacey’s suitcase at home with all of Stacey’s holiday clothes, so we flew out on holiday, we got to the airport and her bag didn’t arrive.

‘We worked out I didn’t put it in the taxi. I left my iPad on the plane, missed the flight home, all within the space of four days, so…

‘I feel like the ADHD has taken a bit more of a grip, and it’s sort of creeping back into my life again, and I’m not managing it well.

‘So, this time around, I want to try and do it properly, find the right balance of medication, speak to the right people. But as well as that, I’ll let you know how. And what’s working and what’s not working.’

During their BBC series last year, Joe emotionally said he feels like a ‘problem’ in wife Stacey’s ‘perfect’ life due to his ADHD.
