Lauren Sanchez puts on eye-popping display at state dinner

Lauren Sanchez put on an eye-popping display at the state dinner for King Charles and Queen Camilla.

The 56-year-old flaunted her ample assets as she arrived hand-in-hand alongside husband Jeff Bezos at the White House on Tuesday evening.

President Donald Trump and wife Melania Trump are hosting the British Royals as their state visit continues with hundreds of high-profile guests in attendance.

Sanchez opted for a sleek black gown that boasted off-the-shoulder sleeves and a plunging neckline for the occasion. She accessorized with a pair of sky-high platform heels, green statement necklace and shimmery clutch bag.

The former journalist wore her brunette tresses in a sculpted updo with a few strands of hair left loose to sweep across her face.

For his part, Amazon tycoon Bezos, 62, wore a classic black tailcoat with a white bow tie.

The couple appeared to be among the first to arrive at the gathering with many other famous faces expected – including Tim Cook.

But it is not the first time that Sanchez has raised eyebrows for her ensemble in the White House – having previously been criticized for racy choice of outfit at Trump’s inauguration in 2025.

The journalist took off her coat during the ceremony that saw Trump sworn in as the 47th US President back in January last year to reveal a white pantsuit – with her white lace bra on full display under a matching jacket.

The bold wardrobe choice sent social media into a frenzy, with many people take to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their thoughts on the risqué ensemble.

‘Good grief, Lauren Sanchez. Put them away for one day,’ a disgusted user urged.

‘Lauren Sanchez is wearing a bra,’ wrote another shocked user.

‘Lauren Sanchez complete inappropriate dress today,’ another agreed. ‘Really, a bra plainly visible. Today is NOT a night club event. Show some class and dignity.’

Earlier today, King Charles III condemned the assassination attempt against President Trump in the royal’s historic speech to Congress.

The British monarch, who became the first royal in 35 years to deliver the address, said that his speech came in the wake of the attempt ‘not far from this great building that sought to harm the leadership of your nation and to foment wider fear and discord.’

Gunman Cole Tomas Allen was charged with trying to assassinate President Trump after he stormed through Secret Service security checks with a rifle and knives at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on Saturday night in Washington, DC.

Prior to the address, President Trump and First Lady Melania rolled out the red carpet for King Charles and Queen Camilla.

The Royals are currently on a four-day state visit and have been welcomed with pomp and pageantry.

The Trumps greeted the royals on Monday on the South Lawn and brought them to the Green Room for tea before giving Charles and Camilla a tour of the upgraded beehive, which is situated in the White House Kitchen Garden.

The more formal day of programming came on Tuesday, which also offered the First Lady and the Queen an opportunity to do a spouses’ engagement.

Melania wanted to showcase her Fostering the Future Together initiative, which, beyond supporting foster youth, also concerns young people and emerging technologies.

When she and the Queen walked out onto a tennis court, several young people were wearing virtual reality headsets.

The Meta Quest headsets were adorned with the Fostering the Future Together logo and allowed students to virtually visit some of the United Kingdom’s most spectacular sites – including Buckingham Palace and Stonehenge.

The visit is the most important foreign trip of Charles’s reign so far, but it now has the added element of heightened security concerns after the attempted attack against the president.

It is the first formal white tie event there since President George W. Bush hosted Queen Elizabeth in 2007.
