The driver of a car filmed ploughing into three people outside a Soho nightclub is an influencer and former X Factor finalist, the Daily Mail can reveal.
Gabrielle Carrington, 29, known as RIELLEUK – struck fellow Instagram and TikTok star Klaudiaglam as well as another woman and a man in his 50s who was unlocking his e-scooter.
Klaudiaglam – real name Klaudia Zakrzewska – is in a critical condition in hospital following the alleged attack outside Inca nightclub in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The pair are believed to have been involved in a heated argument outside the club prior to the incident.
Ms Carrington was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder, grievous bodily harm, dangerous driving and drink-driving.
As a teenager she made it through to the live finals of The X Factor in 2013 as part of girl group Miss Dynamix after impressing Gary Barlow and the other judges.
More recently she has become an influencer – with 362,000 followers on Instagram – where she is seen posing beside a black coloured Mercedes, similar to the car used in the attack.
Emergency services were called to Argyll Street in central London at around 4.30am Sunday following reports that ‘a car had been involved in a collision with pedestrians’.
Video circulating online captures the terrifying moment the black vehicle drives into a group of people.
In the graphic footage, Klaudia is seen being knocked to the ground and becoming trapped underneath the vehicle as bystanders rush to help.
A man in his 50s sustained life-changing injuries, and was taken to hospital. Another woman, aged in her 30s, was treated for minor injuries.
Mrs Carrington remains in police custody. Officers have confirmed the incident is not being treated as terror-related.
Detective Chief Inspector Alison Foxwell, of Specialist Crime South, said: ‘As our enquiries continue, our thoughts are with those injured and their loved ones.
‘While this incident took place in the early hours of the morning, venues in the area were still open, and we believe a number of people will have seen what happened.
‘I would urge anyone who witnessed the collision, or any activity prior to it that they feel may be of relevance, to come forward.
‘The information you have – however minor you believe it may be – could be of crucial importance to investigators.’
