Wayne Lineker’s new mystery love interest is an Irish model called Dahna McMillian, whose father Lennie is a famous sportsman.

The 63-year-old, known as the King of Ibiza, was pictured shopping at Prada with Dahna, 29, in London last Friday and was seen kissing her on the cheek in images which emerged on Wednesday.

And it seems that the pair have known each other for a while because Wayne’s daughter Tia even follows her on Instagram.

And now Wayne, the younger brother of football pundit Gary, 65, has whisked her off on a trip to the Maldives, with them both posting from the same location.

Dahna, whose father was one of the first Americans to play in the Irish Basketball league, has more than 6,000 followers on Instagram and makes regular social media posts.

She’s a fashion model at London-based agency TDA and her Instagram is full of images of her holidaying in stunning locations.

On Tuesday, Dahna, who hails from Dublin, posted a picture of herself in the Maldives wearing a tiny red string bikini and sharing the caption: ‘Sorry, I’m busy.’

Another look saw her standing by a tree on the beach wearing a brown halterneck dress and writing: ‘Dreaming.’

On Wednesday, she posted a cryptic pictures of two bikes sitting in the sand.

Elsewhere, Wayne has been sharing content from the same place and on Thursday he posted a video of himself learning to make red snapper curry there.

He recently revealed how love was the ‘last piece in my puzzle’ as he continues his sobriety journey.

Wayne looked smitten as he and Dahna smooched on Bond Street in the capital in between their visits to luxurious boutiques including Prada.

The businessman, who is eight months sober, couldn’t keep his hands off Dahna, as she wore a brown leather jacket and black trousers for the outing.

A representative for Wayne told the Daily Mail at the time: ‘Wayne is single and has been for some time – the pictures simply reflect that he was out in London enjoying himself.

A spokesman for Wayne had said: 'He remains single and is preparing to head back to Ibiza in the coming weeks for the start of the season, and will also be celebrating his birthday later this month with family on the island'

‘As ever, pictures can sometimes give a slightly misleading impression, but there’s nothing more to read into it.

‘He remains single and is preparing to head back to Ibiza in the coming weeks for the start of the season, and will also be celebrating his birthday later this month with family on the island.’

The club promoter previously revealed what his ‘ideal’ woman would be during his stint on Channel 4’s Celebs Go Dating.

He explained: ‘I don’t want a party girl. I’m looking for someone a little bit older than what I’m used to, somewhere around 40ish.’

Just three weeks before the outing, Wayne told the Daily Mail that the one thing missing from his life was love.

‘I’d love someone to settle down with. It’s my ultimate goal now and the last piece in my jigsaw puzzle. Everything’s coming together, I just need a girlfriend,’ he said.

Wayne is set to return to Ibiza for opening weekend.

‘Yes I am going back to the magic island. Not sure on how long I will last but I’m not thinking too far ahead. One day at a time,’ Wayne shared.

On Thursday, Wayne posted a video of himself enjoying a cooking video in the Maldives

He is scheduled to return to his O Beach club for two weeks, but will be putting his health first.

Wayne had his last drink – a glass of red wine – at Ibiza airport on July 7 while he waited for a flight back to Stansted. He spent a few days at a spa, before checking into The Priory Life Works House rehab facility in Surrey for six weeks.

‘I was not behaving well and I didn’t feel good. I didn’t feel healthy and it finally caught up with me,’ he said.

Now eight months sober, and having swapped his hedonistic life in Ibiza for the quieter climes of Essex, Wayne told how he feels the best he has in years after overcoming pneumonia recently.

‘It‘s just such a different life for me now. I jump out of bed. I can‘t wait for the day. I can‘t even describe how well I feel compared with how terrible I felt every day,’ he added.

‘I was anxious, aching and just so tired. But now, I feel fantastic.‘

Wayne has been single for eight years since splitting from his ex-fiancée Danielle Sandhu, 33.

The pair had dated for four years before their breakup.

He candidly said how he ‘found it difficult to replace’ and branded their relationship as ‘beautiful’.

‘She was just perfect. She ended up getting a modelling career, and I was seeing less of her,’ he admitted.

Everything in Wayne’s life now appears to be going well, after he and his brother Gary brought an end to their rift that lasted 17 years.

While he stressed they are not at a point where they’ll be playing golf together or enjoying a Sunday roast, Wayne said they are in a ‘nice place’.

‘Our relationship now is good, and so it should be,’ he told the Daily Mail last month. ‘Life is too short, and I think we both realise that.

‘But we’re not on the terms we used to be. We used to be so close, we used to play golf, we used to go down to his house for Sunday lunch. We’re not at that level, but we’re in a nice place now. And I’m very happy about that.’
