2026 Masters LIVE: Leaderboard and updates from final round at Augusta

Follow Daily Mail Sport’s live blog for the latest leaderboard and updates from the final round of The Masters 2026 at Augusta National.

Relief for Rory

It seemed like an easy chip shot to the 15th green but McIlroy’s heart was briefly in his mouth.

It looked for a second as though he didn’t give it enough juice with his ball bouncing barely onto the green next to the water.

‘Stay’, he could be seen while pleading with his ball. Lucky escape but the nerves are there.

What a let-off for Rose

Wow!

Rose miscued his drive on 17 way right. Way right.

It looked like that was his tournament over but it smashed off one of the trees and bounced back into the fairway.

Can he take advantage of such a huge break?

McIlroy out of the trees

McIlroy has a good angle through the trees and can play it out to safety, laying up at a good angle to the green.

He just has to play safe golf from here. Everyone else is chasing him.

So close for Rose and Scheffler

Heartbreak for the chasing pack in quick succession.

Rose misses his long birdie putt on 16 before Scheffler does the same up ahead at 17.

Humiliating moment golf star suffers spectacular Masters meltdown after inexplicably putting into the water during Augusta finale

Isabel Baldwin at Augusta: Chinese golfer Haotong Li delivered one of the most stunning meltdowns Augusta National has ever witnessed on the final day of the Masters.

The world No 84 headed into the final round at Augusta at seven-under within five shots of overnight leaders Rory McIlroy and Cameron Young. He even teed it up alongside Scottie Scheffler in the final flourish to a fairytale Masters week.

Li admitted earlier in the week that he played through Friday’s round battling illness after spending the entirety of the night prior ‘living in the toilet.’ At the 13th on Sunday, it was his narrow green jacket hopes that went down the toilet.

McIlroy a little loose on 15

McIlroy steps up to the 15th, where he hit ‘the shot of his life’ on his way to winning last year’, and pushes his tee shot to the right.

It’s not immediately obvious where it landed but patrons could be seen running towards the ball down the right side by the trees.

Could be trouble ahead.

Rose moves back to -11

Rose has steadied the ship with two pars and a birdie. That brings him back up to 11-under, alongside Scheffler.

The holes are running out for both of them. They need something special, or for McIlroy to make mistakes, in order to claim the green jacket.

So here we are, five holes to play. And the path between Rory McIlroy and a second green jacket is clearing. He has a three-shot cushion. Could he really be about to cruise to victory? All the heartache and drama and history – of McIlroy and this place – tells us that is unlikely. No doubt more twists await

Scheffler to -11

The American delights the huge crowd at the par-3 16th with a second birdie in-a-row.

The roar could be heard as McIlroy played his approach to the 14th. Will he feel the world’s best player breathing down his neck?

McIlroy moves to -13

Despite missing the green at 13, McIlroy shows incredible control with the putter to give himself a great chance at birdie on the par-5.

It’s chance he takes with a confident putt to move three shots clear of Scheffler, Rose, Young, Hatton and Henley.

Outrageous from Scheffler

It’s been a quiet day for the two-time champion, who’s been solid but unable to challenge the top of the leaderboard so far.

At 15, he hits his second shot from behind the trees to the green. Then he makes a lengthy birdie putt to move to within two of McIlroy.
