2026 Masters LIVE: Leaderboard and updates from final round at Augusta

Follow Daily Mail Sport’s live blog for the latest leaderboard and updates from the final round of The Masters 2026 at Augusta National.

Oh Rory!

Is that the moment the pendulum swings in Young’s favour?

Somehow, McIlroy has three-putted after his chip for a double bogey.

From no more than three or four feet, his bogey putt lipped out. That means he’s dropped two shots behind Young, who made his par putt.

So close from McIlroy

Well he nearly got himself out of trouble with an extraordinary chip-in there.

His effort definitely had a look inside the hole but skipped past, giving him a good chance to save par.

As for Young, he missed his long putt for birdie. So both should escape the fourth with their 12-under scores intact.

McIlroy on the back foot again

Just minutes after he regained a share of the lead, McIlroy hooks his tee shot on the par-3 fourth.

He fortunately missed the bunker between his ball and the green, meaning he has an ominous chip to come.

Huge roar on the hole in front as Rose moves to nine-under, level with Scheffler, with a birdie on the fifth.

McIlroy levels things back up

Young had the solo lead for just one hole.

McIlroy watches the American miss his longer birdie putt and then responds by draining his own to move back to 12-under.

Young’s par putt is not easy but he holes it to remain at 12-under as well.

Huge break for Young

That is the sort of moment that makes you believe you can win the Masters.

Young has just smashed his drive on 3 into the trees, but it’s cannoned off one of them and bounced back into the fairway.

What a break!

Burns drops another shot

It feels only moments ago that Sam Burns had a share of the lead. Now he’s four shots off of Young after another bogey on 3.

Rose stays to within four shots of the leader with a solid par on the fourth, having left his birdie putt short.

Young has the lead!

Young knocks in his birdie putt at the second to move to 12-under and put the pressure on McIlroy.

The reigning champion has a birdie putt of his own but can’t hit back as he pushes it left to fall behind to the American for the first time in the tournament.

First big change at the top of the leaderboard.

McIlroy has a birdie chance at 2

After finding the bunker with his tee shot, McIlroy took his medicine and escaped down the fairway. He then hits his approach to within 10 feet or so. Great chance to pick up a shot here.

Justin Rose has had a setback at the third. His bogey brings him back to eight-over.

Disaster for Burns

Just a hole after Sam Burns grabbed a share of the lead, he’s dropped a double bogey at the second.

He had a putt to limit the damage to one shot but missed it just right. He’s back to 9-under.

Shane Lowry is back to 9-under with a birdie at the second.

Scheffler closing in

Scheffler is looking dangerous. He’s just birdied the third to move to within two shots of the leaders.

His playing partner, Haotong Li, may have bogeyed the first but has put that behind him with consecutive birdies to move back to eight-under.

Missed opportunity for Rory

McIlroy has a chance to lay down an early marker but leaves his birdie putt at the first really short. Maybe it’s nerves, but that had no chance.

Young went first and tickled his putt down the hill. The line looked good but his also wasn’t firm enough and stopped just short of the hole.
