‘In 1980s San Francisco, a homeless teen is recruited to a storied private school where kids from crime families learn to master “the deadly arts”,’ Netflix’s synopsis reads.

Deadly Class, created by Rick Remender and Miles Orion Feldsott, stars the likes of Benedict Wong, Benjamin Wadsworth, Lana Condor, María Gabriela de Faría, Luke Tennie, Liam James and Michel Duval.

They are joined by the likes of Taylor Hickson, Siobhan Williams, Isaiah Lehtinen, Tom Stevens, Brian Posehn, Olivia Cheng, David Zayas and Victor Andrés Trelles Turgeon.

Deadly Class, based on Rick Remender and Wesley Craig's novel of the same name, premiered on American television channel Syfy back in 2019

It has starred a whopping 7.5 stars out of 10 on IMDb and many have rushed online to share their rave reviews.

‘Thrilling, nonsensical fun!’

‘Truly one of the most CINEMATIC shows I’ve ever seen, the writing, casting, direction, and cinematography are all top tier.

‘I keep waiting for some drop off in quality, but they’ve maintained this high level through each of the first three episodes.’

‘Very Under Rated Series.’

‘I was very surprised by just how good this show is. It sticks to the comic. And to the people saying it’s unrealistic, of course it is. It’s a comic.

‘The premise is ridiculous, but that’s one reason why it’s so good.

‘Comics show us a different, unrealistic world and that’s why we love them. This is exactly what this show does.’

‘Loved it, it was very funny and very gory. The characters were amazing and different.’

‘It’s one of the great show of 2019.!!!! Worth watching.!!!’

‘BEST TV SHOW OF 2019.’

Many have rushed online to share their rave reviews on the programme which was cancelled after one series

Many are devastated that there won’t be another season.

‘Another show snuffed out before its time, “Deadly Class” operates on a level mature enough to keep your attention and playful enough to retain its rock-n-roll roots for ten fun episodes. ‘

 ‘Shame it was cancelled.’

‘Seems these days whenever u find a good tv show the network cancels it and puts utter c**p on instead like dancing with the stars or some sort of fake reality show i have actually gone to not watching tv at all anymore and just watching movies.’

‘BRING THIS SHOW BACK!’

‘The things that get cancelled and the things that pass for great TV these days just shocks me.’

‘A show that was cancelled but worth saving! I’m really hoping for Season 2. I didn’t get to watch in Syfy and only got the chance to watch it in Netflix.

‘The show is action packed, I’d love to see more of Marcus and friends on a mission, Lana Condor portraying as Saya is a total badass, I just really want to see more!’

In June 2019 it was confirmed that the series was cancelled when creator Rick took to his X account.
