Emmerdale’s Bradley Riches marries surrounded by famous friends

Emmerdale star Bradley Riches tied the knot with artist fiancé Scott Johnson in an intimate ceremony in Maidenhead on Wednesday.

The actor, 24, who plays Lewis Barton in the ITV soap, celebrated his big day surrounded by famous friends including former CBB housemates David Potts and ZeZe Millz.

Taking to Instagram the newlyweds shared a sweet snap as they as they kissed in the grounds of the lavish Lillibrooke Manor before hitting the dance floor. 

While Bradley looked dapper in a brown three piece suit, Scott opted for beige and the pair both wore matching carnations in their button holes. 

The actor later posted a photo to his Stories as he partied the night away kicking his leg high in the air on the dance floor during the raucous reception. 

TV’s David continued to show off his newly slimmed-down physique as he and Zeze, which caught the eye in a pink blazer, enjoyed cocktails.

Bradley, who appeared in Celebrity Big Brother back in 2024, captioned the post: ‘Mr & Mr Johnston-Riches 08.04.26’.

Fans and famous friends were quick to share their congratulations in the comments, with Emmerdale co-star Laura Norton gushing: ‘Ah hell yes!!!!’ and Lisa Riley wrote: ‘We love you so so so so much…can’t wait to celebrate when we are home CONGRATULATIONS you belters’.

Traitors winner Stephen Libby said : ‘Massive congratulations to you both! Yay for love’ while Dragon’s Den’s Sara Davis added: ‘huge congrats!’. 

While branding himself an artists on social media Scott most recently staged his own played titled Boy Meets Girl? at The Other Palace Theatre in London.  

Bradley revealed in an Instagram post back in 2024 that Scott popped the question on holiday. 

Sharing a gallery of photos, the loved-up couple seemed happier than ever as Bradley kissed Scott’s cheek as they stood inside a heart made out of rose petals. 

The reality star held out his hand showing off his ring as they stood on a balcony overlooking the ocean and mountains during a lavish getaway to an unknown location.

Ekin-Su wrote: ‘Congratulations to you both,’ while presenter AJ Odudu added: ‘Omg CONGRATULATIONS’. 

Bradley found fame playing James McEwan in the Netflix series Heartstopper, and his co-stars including Bel Priestley, and Robbie White also wrote ‘Congratulations’. 

Bradley is best known for portraying James McEwan in the hit international Netflix show, Heartstopper.

Bradley’s role was quite small in the beginning of the smash series, however by the second season his storyline grew substantially.

During this time, his character developed a crush on bookworm Isaac Henderson (Tobie Donovan), who was struggling to juggle their relationship alongside accepting his asexual identity.
