Victoria Beckham looked effortlessly chic in a white suit as she walked hand in hand with her husband David to the ribbon-cutting ceremony for his team’s new stadium.

The former footballer, 50, was joined by his Spice Girl wife, 51, as he opened his Inter Miami team’s new Freedom Park Stadium on Saturday.

The couple put on a loved-up display attend the stadium’s ribbon-cutting ceremony prior to the MLS match between Inter Miami CF and Austin FC at Nu Stadium.

Victoria stepped out for the occasion in a white oversized suit featuring flared trousers and a light grey key hole vest underneath.

Meanwhile David represented his team in a navy suit with the Inter Miami crest embroidered onto it.

His family were quick to show support with middle son Romeo sharing a picture of David at the stadium, while his youngest son Cruz shared a gushing tribute to his dad on the opening.

Cruz, 21, took to Instagram with snaps as he toured the venue, after estranged brother Brooklyn was spotted taking a ‘tense’ phone call amid their ongoing family feud.

He said he ‘couldn’t be more proud’ of his father as he took in the huge new state of the art stadium before sitting in Lionel Messi’s pitch side seat.

Cruz penned: ‘Dad I really couldn’t be more proud of you, you have inspired me every day to be a better human and have consistently proved that as long as you work as hard as you can you can achieve your dreams,’

Before adding: ‘And today you have made history once again, Vamos Miami, see ya tonight’.

David replied: ‘Thank you mate love you so much, but I have one question , what are you doing in Leo’s seat ?? @cruzbeckham Love you.’

While both mum Victoria and girlfriend Jackie Apostel, 30, posted a string of love heart emojis.

David shared a first look at Inter Miami’s new $750million (£566.5m) stadium on Friday ahead of its official unveiling.

The England legend announced the beginning of construction on the project, then called Miami Freedom Park, in 2023, three years on from the club’s founding.

Inter Miami have been based in Fort Lauderdale since their inaugural season at the 21,500 Chase Stadium, and will see their capacity boosted to 26,700

Inter Miami have been based in Fort Lauderdale since their inaugural season at the 21,500 Chase Stadium, and will see their capacity boosted to 26,700 with the move close to Miami International Airport.

Beckham posted a picture to Instagram during Inter Miami’s first training session at the Nu Stadium, with the caption ‘Our new home (two pink heart emojis)’ adorning the video of the gleaming pink and white ground.

The 50-year-old also shared a post with pictures of the ground – and himself testing out the turf – to his main grid, which was celebrated by a slew of well-wishers.

His son Romeo and former team-mate Gary Neville were among those to send supportive red heart emojis in the comment section, with his mother Sandra writing: ‘So proud, ground looks amazing (pink heart black heart white heart football emojis) xx.’

The stadium sits at the heart of Miami Freedom Park itself, a billion-dollar complex billed as an entertainment district sitting atop 131 acres of Miami real estate.

David and co-owner Jorge Mas had planned for the move to the Nu Stadium to coincide with star player Lionel Messi’s final season, in the summer of 2025.

Brooklyn appeared tense during a phone call outside the Sunset Plaza Hotel in West Hollywood on Friday evening and was spotted pacing and animatedly moving his arms during the lengthy conversation.

He cut a casual figure in a black T-shirt and jeans which he wore with a Nike baseball cap and chunky leather boots.

David also been showing off the swanky new stadium

In January, the aspiring chef released an explosive six-page statement aimed at his parents, where he revealed he did not wish to reconcile with his family.

Earlier this month Brooklyn dealt another blow to his devastated parents as he failed to mention Victoria on Mother’s Day, though praised his mother-in-law on social media.

Taking to Instagram, he shared a photo of himself alongside Claudia Heffner Peltz and his wife Nicola, with the accompanying caption: ‘Happy birthday to the best mother-in-law. Love u so much and hope u had the most amazing day.’

With Claudia’s birthday falling on March 12 – three days earlier – it seemed a particularly calculated move.

The eldest son of Victoria and David turned 27 earlier this month and blasted the ‘performative posts’ which included loving messages, according to reports.
